N650R(ER-6f) Rs.4,40,146.63 (Why would this be IMPOSSIBLE?)
    ZX6R Rs.6,23,571.63
    ZX10R Rs.8,80,366.63

@Everyone else.. OTR 5.5/6 Lac is not an alright price for N650. The Alright price is Rs. 4.5 lac.
Dude going by your conversion.Superbikes should be sold at 8Lacs plus.
But it doesn't happen they are sold here for 14 Lacs plus.

a honda accord can do that.

    well... almost.
There was a accord here . I dont know when it did 0 - 100km/hr in 5 secs. I think it was around 8 - 10secs as Octavia Vrs used to blow the hell out of poor accord . top-end was sweet though.

Guys, now don't start comparing this with Accord, or maybe Lamborghini Murcielago. It's like comparing Coolers with Cages!

I just had an agreement with my dad, and he had many queries. I answered them all, except for one- he says if I join a job in another city, where/ how will I keep/ maintain the bike?
I had no answer. If I move from Ajmer to any other city for a good job, what's the bike gonna do and where?

But, If the N is going for 5.5L OTR, I'm gonna go get it anyways. Especially if I shift to Bangalore...
Just hope Bajaj keep the same price, and give great service (which I'm sure they will, given N250's reports).

The N650R has sported the digital gauge post 2008 AFAIK!

haha... relax. i didn't say an Accord is a hatchback.

i was implying that even a "*behemoth" Accord wouldn't be able to beat the GT650R's acceleration.

    * (now i'm not saying an Accord is a big car... just that's it's more powerful than a hatchback)

i drive one. it takes over 5.5 seconds.

and... an Audi A8 wouldn't do 100kmph in under 4 seconds.

same here... New Bombay Probiking is virtually oblivious of the existence of the Kawasaki 650R.

As far as i know, OTR stands for On The Road price as in the price the customer has to pay inclusive of the standard and local taxes.

So I guess the news is officially out now... its true that the distributors have been informed of the launch and orders have been placed...

Also i got a chance to get up close and personal with the 650R day a few days ago.. dont ask where dont ask how... all i can say is that indian RTO guys (or some certification guys) were there as well..

It was good to see the mini-beast and trust me it looks much better in reality...

    So are you planning one?
Agreed that its high! Even the N250 is on the higher side. But beggars can't be choosers!

Yes, in all probability the N650 is my next bike. But definitely not picking it up this year. Have a few changes coming up on the career front, once that's settled I'd know how soon I can lay my hands on this green meanie!
