Or maybe the bike that we had for test rides was abused by all the journalists before? And it was probably not in its prime condition.

Please note that at such high speeds, your mind would be more focused on keeping you alive than worry about some extra vibes here or there. But yes for below 6K rpm, i completely agree with you.
230+ considering she does 175+ in 4th gear
There might be a slight chance that your review is not impartial...
I'm not saying that you are biased. But its just the fact that you may not be a "third-party"....

Surprisingly, i felt the other way round. I've taken the bike to 174 and beyond 150kph, all i could feel was wind and speed. Could not even figure out the vibes at such high speeds.Originally posted by nitrosatya View PostIt was a 3-4 kms ride. The bike has good torque low down. It accelerates pretty well. I liked the torquey punch which it gives.Put an aftermarket exhaust and you can have a proper Ducati rumble. The V-engine sounds almost like a Ducati. But the vibrations after 6k rpm are quite a lot. I wanted to leave my hand. I hit 140 in 3rd gear. In my opinion the bike is good below 6k rpm. Above which it feels unpleasant.
We told this to Mrs. Diya Garware-Ibanez. And she assured us that this matter is looked in into and they are trying to find a solution for that.
The fit and finish seemed satisfactory.
Other than that I feel that the GT650R will fulfill a person's desire to own a proper sportsbike. It feels like a sportsbike. It accelerates like one. It looks like one.
For now it is my last option.

Because of the riding style. The Hyosung has proper race ergonomics. It would be great if Ninja ZX6R comes along! Because I really need the racing ergonomics for now. I will go for street bikes and sport tourers after 40 maybe.Originally posted by darkknight View Postyou have already discounted the N650R

Autocar's review of the Hyosung bikes...
He does mention about the vibrations and the clutch being heavy. And low built quality of both the bikes.
Fuel Efficiency:
GT650R - City: 20.4 kpl
Highway: 24.3 kpl
ST7 - City: 19.6 kpl
Highway: 22 kpl

you have already discounted the N650ROriginally posted by nitrosatya View PostI got to ride the Hyosungs yesterday.
And i will say that if no inline four cylinder sportsbike is in my budget in coming 1-2 years, I might go for the GT650R.

Thanks airbase.Originally posted by airbase View PostCongrats fellow biker!
Thanks kedar. My height is 5"6.Riding posture is comfortable. The handlebar is within reach, tank doesn't come in the way. Can't comment on top heavy as they weren't giving test rides.Originally posted by kedar3223 View PostLooking good in red. May i ask your height sir. Hows the riding posture. The tank looks huge, does it hinder handlebar reach. Hows the feeling lifting the bike of the stand as of does it feel top heavy? Also are they giving test rides.
