PGMV8 is Your Basic 2 Liter V8 Superbike from Australia
PGMV8 is Your Basic 2 Liter V8 Superbike from Australia- 334 horsepower should do the job
PGMV8 motorcycle from Australian builder Paul G. MaloneyIt looks like the Aussies have built a beautiful new V8 motorcycle, the PGMV8. Builder Paul G Maloney, assembled his team, drawn from the shops of World Superbike, MotoGP, Formula One and various other design and racing environments and, starting in 2008, created this impressive 1996cc, 90 degree V8 engine and placed it in a package that, filled with fluids, comes in at 534 pounds. It certainly looks right and is one more example of how a V8 motorcycle should be done, quite a long way from the automotive transplants we're more accustomed to seeing.
PGMV8, 334 horsepower and 157 pound feet of riding exhilarationThe DOHC 5 valve per cylinder V8 runs 13:1 compression, Mikuni throttle bodies feed the fuel and everything is controlled by a Motec M130 ECU and software. Sand cast aluminium crankcases contain the flat plane crank, machined out of a solid piece of En36 steel, heat treated and nitrited before final grinding and balancing. An Akrapovic titanium exhaust lets gasses escape in a free flowing system which sounds great, (see video below) but requires carbon fiber mufflers for legal road use.
PGMV8 looks compact and powerfulThe rest of the bike ticks all the boxes with a chrome-moly trellis frame in front with machined aluminum parts in the rear, Ohlins suspension, Marchesini wheels, Brembo brakes, a high end package all around.

There's certainly some high end building going on in Australia these days and the entire PGMV8 team did a great job on this one. Nice work!

New Zealand is known for its beautiful landscape than for its gang activities, but it is this less known thing that explores in his mob portraits seriesMighty Mongrel Mob, the largest in the nation to sit down for stunning portraits.
They don't ride bikes, but they developed all the trimmings of an outlaw motorcycle club: patches, club colors, and a fiercely violent process of initiation. They're the largest gang in New Zealand with around 30 chapters across both islands.
Media access to the Mob is rare, which is why this photo series by Jono Rotman is a big deal.
Jono Rotman explained that how he got excess to the mob:

Motorcycle lane splitting Bill passed by California Assembly: xBhp News
California has become first state to allow motorcycles to weave between car that are slowed by traffic. The California Assembly approved Bill 51 on 28th May, permitting motorcyclists to split lanes so long as they do so at speeds no faster than 50 mph and no faster than 15 mph than traffic in adjacent lanes is moving.
The Bill was introduced by Assemblymen Bill Quirk (D-Hayward), Kansen Chu (D-San Jose) and Tom Lackey (R-Palmdale), they said that this practice should be legal so the state can offer safety guidance.
A UC Berkeley study found that lane splitting is safer, compared to being stopped in traffic.
The Assemblymen Bill Quirk said:
.
While other said:
California law enforcement officers for decades have allowed lane-splitting when traffic is congested, but there's never been a law saying it's legal."They usually encounter many motorcyclists zipping between lanes at high speeds. They are bullies on the road, and they expect everyone to move over. This would be very bad legislation."
