It's a photoshop job by some magazine, showing what they "Expect" from the bike. It's NOT the real image of the bike.

The happy news is that "The 4 headlights" setup is very much intact in this new ZX 14R too!
    Thanks! Relieved

Earlier version was 1452 cc as far as I know? This 200 bhp is exluded from the supercharged thing, right?

I mean, once the supercharger is active, the peak power would be more than 200 bhp..

1352cc. And it was 84x61mm (Bore x Stroke)... So, this new model is being long stroked by 4mm more.

Hayabusa always dominated this category mostly due to its long stroke & refined engine, while ZZR's engine had shorter stroke most of the years AFAIK.

Above 200 bhp: The journalist who said this just means it would be above 200 bhp. How much above exactly (without s.c) is not known.

But, it should easily make 200+ bhp as it already made 190 bhp and now it has 100cc's more.

Another day, another teaser for the ZX-14R/ZZR1400

You've got to ask just what Kawasaki is trying to say with this one. Sure the high speed green streak makes sense, but why the massive explosion at the end? A warning, perhaps...

2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R Frame and Motor Revealed

The last time we showed you the latest teaser from Kawasaki for its upcoming 2012 Kawasaki ZX-14R (that’s the 2012 Kawasaki ZZR1400 for our friends across the pond), we found it fairly amusing when several sites called the video’s authenticity into question. Systematically leaked to media sites through Kawasaki channels, and generally having the production quality of a professional job, nay-sayers apparently over-looked the smoking-gun fact that the videos in question were hosted on Kawasaki’s Ninja ZX-14R mini-site, which for added authority resides on a Kawasaki.com sub-domain. Yes, this video is real. Yes, an updated version of the Kawasaki ZX-14R/ZZR1400 is coming. Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus, and he’s bringing you a new 1,440cc motorcycle. Only a few more days until this baby drops on October 10th. Stay tuned.
