They are based in India. Its Piaggio with whom they had tie-up.

It is not visually appealing. I would like to get one if it comes with the 2 stroke 30PS engine. That will be a killer bike. But I see a very little chance for it.

BTW, 2 strokers are not banned in India. The old 2 strokes had to say good bye because they failed to comply with the emission norms. Manufacturers can still come with 2 stroke bikes if they can successfully comply with the emission norms.

Guys, a 2 stroke is nothing like these 4 strokes you ride. I have ridden some of them... Low weight, any rpm torque, top end power, excellent sound are some of the things that a biker wants in his bike. And 2 strokes have them.

There's no decent substitute for a 2 stroke bike. Period.

(Although yes, I suspect its some kind of mod job to an older 150RR, although since the frame seems newer, we can't say.)

I don't think its a mod job. But it looks like a cheap mod job like our own ZMR.

IMO the speedo looks great.. however the fairing looks like a karol bagh job in many places. Or the pics are not doing it justice, or this is a pre-production model.

Totally agree with you. But then guys like us won't be in substantial numbers to entice the Bike Makers.

If this True Pocket Rocket ever makes it to India, I'll strip all unnecessary plastic parts (including the full fairing) and make it a 2 Stroke Street Fighter Screamer.

30Ps, 125 Kgs (hopefully even lighter after the Strip Job..!!) = A Mad Fun Machine..!!

The fairing is an ugly modjob. Have ridden one and taken it to 160, it is a fun bike. Couple of my friends have it. It even has a switch on the LH switch gear which makes the rightmost dial change between coolant temp and fuel gauge.

However, I opted to buy a honda instead, something that made 40bhp from a 150cc.

@Topic - Surely not visually appealing but yeah if those specs it can generate then it'll definitely worth buying in India.
