Its definitely off-topic I guess. Ok I drive a Stunner currently. Also have an activa at home among 2-wheelers. And I didnt buy by taking a loan so I won't go into much details about EMI.Originally posted by rennycornelius View Post^^
It was very much on topic, trust me !

You said the guy who's riding RTR would never go for Duke ! ?
Reasons ?
Do you own RTR or Duke ?
How many kms have you spent on any of the above mentioned Motorcycles ?Last edited by rennycornelius; 04-24-2012, 09:59 AM.

And who is gonna own this bike would never go for Duke whether you slap him an EMI 3K more for 5years or you give him 10 slaps

I don't find it sensible to be honest. If this comes at say 82K on-road and the Duke comes 138K on-road. There is a hefty price difference between both. And who is gonna own this bike would never go for Duke whether you slap him an EMI 3K more for 5years or you give him 10 slapsOriginally posted by rennycornelius View PostAgreed !
This thing must be 80-85 on road now I believe.
And going by the books 90% or may be more buyers opt for loan, and I still think that opting for Duke and slapping 2000-3000 per month more on the EMI makes bloody good sense.

The only saving grace is the 'dynamite' of the mill which the duo possess. The intake and exhaust roar, the raw appeal is still unmatched!!

Blame it on the cheap price !Originally posted by julianpaul View Post
Holy mother! Somebody call guiness! 16 times...
Absolutely !Originally posted by payeng View Post
But it is also the styling/appeal of a bike which pulls the stings of the heart.
I wont go and buy a motorcyle which has engine of a Duke and body of a ZMR, even if its priced at 95000 on road.

And coming back to the new RTR design, Do we really need scoops on tank ?
This trend was started way back in 1999 with CBZ and later followed by Fiero.
RTR with scoops removed will look much better, both old and new models.
