Thats a stagerrringgg figureOriginally posted by satyenpoojary View PostThe Duke is - Expensive to "Own"
Having clocked 16000KMs on the Ninja650 in <6months of ownership, I do not want to buy another "premium" product and end up at the mercy of PBK for both my bikes.
The Impulse is Superb at places and boring in some, the RTR is like the old love that you keep going back to! So unless something radical happens I could go back to cheap thrills, which is BEST done by a RTR!
and that too when you have 3-4 bikes. So assuming your data is perfect I would say half the day you're on bikes
and can't imagine the amount you would have spent in 6months like these on your bikes
Whats there in a signature?

I reserve my comment until i see the bike! But i love the LED Pilot lamps
My RTR has done 78-79k kms now. Monthly run has reduced from 2.5-3.5k to just 0.6k - 1k kms in the past 6 months. Returning good mileage (around 55). Only rust issue i faced so fare is with the Silencer which was replace U/W!
@satyen
Why buy the new one? I guess ur RTR is all souped up to kick ass's of 200CC + bikes! And thats lot of run on the Ninja!07 HH Zma
11 Honda Aviator DLX
14 Ford Figo 1.4 TDCI (Now Caged:( )
16 Scooty Zest
11 CBR 250R

I'm sure that there are plenty of factors that end up affecting how a product ends up looking and being perceived the way it does, so I wouldn't point fingers or criticize any particular part of a company
Within the context of this being a cosmetic upgrade: The underlying styling language of the Apache was one of a sculpted/organic look. To suddenly take that foundation and go at it with as many sharp edges as possible is what I think makes this look like a confused design. I wish they developed the upgrade whilst extrapolating from the initial approach.(see attatched jpeg)
Also being a bit dated doesn't mean that the design/style of the bike is in anyway bad or needs upgrading e.g. the Shogun may look a bit dated but still holds its own against the current crop of bikes by looking light and nimble.(that may be a biased opinion)
Disclaimer: Style is Subjective , this is just another opinion>>
