    2. What's the point in testing with wrong body parts ? That won't be the case too.
If they test with wrong body parts then that pretty much explains why the Pulsar 220's fairing and mirrors vibrate so much

This may be a preliminary test focusing only on engine...Just check Where is the exhaust, rear mud guard and rear disc? Arai will approve this? That is only in the final setup by the R&D Bajaj. Wait for the output with patience. ( I heard there is only KTM is coming now...no pulsar for time being... said by Bajaj Area Manager kerala,yesterday..then I dont know what is this picture) # 6months back I have changed my 220's grab rail from 135

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the seat.

Egad! That view can't be further from the truth. The reason for road testing is to make sure every parts are working properly. Its possible some parts MAY change in final product, but that will be due to defective design rather than trying to mislead people.

Moving on, its difficult to say its engine capacity. 200 would be a good bet. I have a feeling this will be the best looking pulsar to date. It better be. However, rear drum brakes caught me by surprise. Hope they offer optional disc.

      • It only goes to say that the engine block seen in the picture is that of the KTM duke 125/200, exhaust for these are a low-slung exhaustthat exits directly behind the engine and under the swingarm
No matter what marque you ride, it's all the same wind.

Exhaust is there. Look below the engine. Its same as Duke
Mud-guard and saree guard dont need to be tested.
As i said in a thread in March, New pulsars are coming in last quarter of 2011. Just wait till December.
Dont trust these "area managers" and "mechanics" . They even say Pulsar engine can be re-bored to 350cc and stuff like XCD 250 .

Not unless you maintain it well !
Similarly you can rely on all engines if you maintain it well !!

The blog came up yesterday only with these pics....

                  absolutely right...
the company is behind these spy pics & if there's a person behind took this...he could have watermarked his name & could see it to some magazines & makes money just like Vaibhav Saigal did for R15 V2.0, just think guys, Bajaj is now trying to make chaos in the market
from my point of view..bajaj tests their vehicles on their own test ride facility & the entire Pulsar range could be upgraded...lets pray for a quarter liter engine from Bajaj

anyways 2 more weeks to wait.

                    • Why many of you are saying that the spotted bike is 150cc or under because of no disc brakes at rear ..?? Does the Karizma have rear disc (223cc),?? does the P180or abroad bikes like Honda CB300 have discs at rear....??

But my thinking is if its above 200cc and liquid cooled it should have a disc ... or I am going to put one after buying....

Exactly! Most of the braking is done by the front. Rear just helps it keep stable.
For a Sub 250 CC machine, it's perfectly ok. But as they say, more is never enough.

                              • What i heard is "hybrid" meaning a mix of KTM & Pulsar 200 mostly fuel injected not sure of rear disk break expected this dec. end or start jan., there would be no upgrade above 220 cc for next to 2 months.
