The most hideous thing I have seen today!!
With the monoshock, the rear swingarm is looking rather weird n skinny. The front fairing is non existant, which is weird for a pulsar !!

I guess its KTM.

No Way that they would change Pulsar so drastically. (P.S. By change i mean Downgrade [Rear Drum] and not much upgrade)

Why is everyone talking about P200? I mean is it just a speculation that new pulsar will be 200cc (I am not talking about this spotted bike but rather new pulsar in general) or is there some good info behind it? Because if I remember correctly, earlier everyone was talking of new Pulsar being 250cc but now all of a sudden, I see everyone talking about P200.

After the long wait and enormous expectation this the first look at the new bajaj Pulsar 2012. This was spotted near the Bajaj factory in Pune and photos were taken when the bike is being tested on the public roads heading towards Nashik Phata.

These bike in picture were spotted on the new Nigdi-Nashik Phata highway. At the first look it seems like the Pulsar 135 LS , But have closer look . The bike has monoshock ( first for any bajaj range bikes) and if you take even more closer look you will see orange tag on the crank case and KTM written on it .
So the engine is taken from the joint development of Bajaj-KTM 125 Duke ( just a guess) . The rear wheel still has a drum brake so the bike will in line of 125cc to 150cc. The tail lamp looks similar old line of Pulsars.

Some design references taken from Kiska Designs 125cc Duke. Like the Front fender and the headlight design. The speedo was not able to be seen so cannot comment on one. The tank seems similar to the current pulsar range (p200). The interesting parts are the Rims similar to the baby Duke 125 , Lets hope this not the new Duke 200cc for India. That will be a big no-no from the KTM fans in India.

New Pulsar May Be Unveiled This December

The centre-stage will be occupied by the new Pulsar 200, which will share a significant amount of technology, especially its gearbox and transmission, with the KTM Duke 200. While the KTM Duke 200 will employ a DOHC, four-valve, single-spark, liquid-cooled motor, the Pulsar will be powered by an SOHC, four-valve, twin-spark engine which will also be liquid-cooled now.
