so, now i think it is quite clear that we have 2 bikes for launch
- Pulsar 150 - which is a bored out version of a KTM125 engine
- Pulsar 220/250 - which is a bored out engine of a KTM200.
there will be some internal engine changes as compared to KTM, like 4 valves etc. it will be interesting to see if BAL retains some of its existing features like DTS-i and exhaustec.
while P150 will definitely be a naked bike, it remains to be seen whether P220/250 will be naked as well or comes as a semi faired/fully faired?
the P220/250 may have a top whack of around 150 kmph.
Imagine this, a liquid cooled, 4 valve Pulsar 250 based on a KTM engine with semi / full fairing and projector headlamps -- i will be the first customer.

thank you lockhrt999...but i hate to say its not enough proportional as you think like my other works (all in MS paint btw)...the sketch on which i had based my work on was a rough sketch made to understand the basic design it was still not made proportional to the full due to my lack of time. And so if you analyse the swing arm & front forks, everyone will be able to notice that they are quiet thick in proportion. i had to make it look that thick so that nobody will be able to find it not being proportional caused because of the slightly misalignment of that basic design.i had little time with me and more work as i had to carefully analyse all the spy pics bit by bit to scan out the basic shape as well as calculate how camouflage fabric was stretched out on it to find out whether they had/hadnt had any thick structures/ panels like the front fairing. It was tedious work a lil bit even though i enjoy the most as usual.I had used basic design cues from 5 things mainly the 1. all pics of the test mules so farOriginally posted by lockhrt999 View Post@Dman : that's very proportionate render you have given.
,2.P135ls
3. rendering from Bs motoring as the test mule had 80% of things and design cues which that rendering had and so i used it just to get an idea about the frame which it might be having under the wraps.
4. ktm duke was used as an example to source out the frame and engine architecture.
5. my little imagination.
ok now you guys got every thing i better go and sleep i had been sitting and working on this all night yesterday and in total for the past 3 days in total.Time to rest besides we'll the real thing will get revealed this monday so i guess i'll wait...

@Dman: very well done..great job.. I have edited your pictue a lil bit and it now look even more proportional. Would you mind if i post the pic(edited) in here?Originally posted by Dman View Postthank you lockhrt999...but i hate to say its not enough proportional as you think like my other works (all in MS paint btw)...the sketch on which i had based my work on was a rough sketch made to understand the basic design it was still not made proportional to the full due to my lack of time. It was tedious work a lil bit even though i enjoy the most as usual.I had used basic design cues from 5 things mainly the 1. all pics of the test mules so far

1.even though i am eagerly waiting for new pulsar i don't think it will be revolutionary.
2.should really see with what technology BAL comes up with!
3.i too believe that new pulsars look like pulsar 135 with a mono shock.
4.I think there will be some price increase across the range.
5.I believe a pulsar 250 naked bike will be launched sooner or later and of course a full faired version.
6.even a 150 full faired version may follow(around 80k price OTR).
7.I expect engine tech specs will be same for the 150cc model but for 220/250 will definitely raise(around 23bhp).Last edited by Ulti Racer; 01-28-2012, 09:50 PM.Whenever i see bikes or cars i see adrenalin pumps instead of people carriers.Thats the way to define an automobile.

I thought the Duke 200 was already a bored 125 Duke engine?Originally posted by Naveen1985 View Postbajaj will launch all new pulsar with 150cc engine(which will be a bored out version of duke 125 engine) 200cc engine(duke 200 engine) and at a later stage they will launch 250cc bike......its just a guess....

sometimes i feel they can launch pulsar 125 instead of 150

NO offence but this is a forum and everybody has their own right to express themselves. He did not insult anyone so it is best if you refrain from insulting others.Originally posted by princesirohioh yes, everybody hail the most knowledgeable engine designer of the century, mr. ulti racer. he has designed all the bike engines running on this planet.
please don't post crap, useless things here.
You can pull out ur own speculations and ideas but others cannot?
