My bad.. I thought it the other way round.. I stand corrected.

*Not used such a motorcycle i guess.. *

        Oh cool.

So, those bar ends too would be available as accessories?

        • ^^ Yes sir. the handle bar weights, chain, immobilizer, sprocket, LED lighting, tank pad, Rim tape (not sure of this YET), etc etc will all be part of accessories. (I will not be surprised if these would be available to be fitted on the bike even before one can take delivery.

But if it's a must add then why don't they install it by default...!?
And if it's not (if vibes are not that much...) why have they mentioned the procedure to do it in the manual...!!??

That's nice with so many official accessories. Out of that I might buy the Tank's LED and Rim Tape, if in budget..

They would have been the first ones(of course) to spread it, right?

@ MG: isn't it a bit strange, different revlimiter limits for different gears...

That makes it faster than R15 and P220. Using smaller sprocket the top speed can be pulled near to CBR250. Thanks Bajaj for upping the top speed.
                      HURRAY!!!!

Source: MG. (I can read between lines)
so you calculated from RPM.... smart boy, mogambo kush hua...but a top speed of 160 kmph if achievable is i think equal to that of CBR250... i do not own a CBR, but going by the reviews, CBR has a top whack of not more than 160 kmph.

Has anyone else observed the same or am I missing something here?
@speedaholica: that means KTM also has a pulsar type BCU, which controls most of the electrical/electronic functions.

does KTM have pulsar like LED backlit type of handlebar switches.?

On pulsar every electronic stuff works regardless to engine kill switch position.
Probably the Duke he tested was running on very low battery, that's fairly possible as the visitors do keep cranking the engine. Without a single run, the battery must have drained.

And yes KTM does also have backlit switches like pulsar.

I guess what we mean here is, on 220 the headlight stays on for 5 secs, and then goes off in engine swithed off mode, but the Pilots stay on. KTM may have employed similar technique.
