        Completely true. This bike seems to have a "I don't give a damn" kind of character, which many bikers will respect, if everything goes as planned without problems... This bike reminds me of Ben Spies, has a good looking face but doesn't bother giving a smile.

        Every time we speculate a price for any of Bajaj's bikes (KN650, Duke), Bajaj drops a hammer on our head and we're like OMG what solid pricing!!!

        And I'm yet to verify if the Duke takes in sprockets from Karizma, P180 UG4, etc. to overgear it properly... 14/43 on .520 pitch it is. Let's see.


        As for CBR250 and R15, R15 scores on its track abilities and looks, and CBR is still a tourer's delight, a profile which Duke seems to be far away from. So, even if Duke beats CBR in 0-60 or 100 it won't mean much.
        The common man might take both CBR and Duke to 4000 rpm each, and then go for CBR too... who knows?

          leave the touring for zma and cbr 250....
          dont know how can you think of touring with such a small pillion seat which means very less space for luggage bags + its coming with just a 10 ltr tank with company claimed mileage of 30 kmpl...so you can take it as 25-26 kmpl on safer side which means a range of 260 km on a full tank and this range is not good enough for touring i guess....correct me if I am wrong

              when the new range of pulsars are out, together with this KTM, i think japs like honda, yamaha etc will have to rethink about there strategies.

                correct, and add to it the fact that it has a plastic tank, so forget magnetic tank bags.

                  This has better power to weight ratio than CBR250 and R15, i'am not talking about the 1/4 mile drags ! just the traffic light GP guys !

                  And I've seen people tour in Splendour, Shogun ,RX100, Kinetic Honda, Ind Suzuki before ZMA, ZMR or any modern crop of bikes came into picture !

                  Whats so fuss about carrying bags and small tank, when touring can be 'this' much fun !
