dont know how can you think of touring with such a small pillion seat which means very less space for luggage bags + its coming with just a 10 ltr tank with company claimed mileage of 30 kmpl...so you can take it as 25-26 kmpl on safer side which means a range of 260 km on a full tank and this range is not good enough for touring i guess....correct me if I am wrong
Oh this will tour. Let me get delivery and I will put in a demonstration of how

The seating position is more upright than CBR, which is very important for long distance comfort. The tank is a challenge, but I am hoping that KTM will release some "powerparts" for this model including a larger tank.

    • Not very sure about its touring abilities, to me it seems more like a weekend fun ride country side or beyond the road for a while. With 10 way adjustable rear shocks, it would have a plenty to offer for all kind riders.
For touring, the pillion seat seems small and the tank capacity is puny (10 ltrs).
By the way the bike has been built, as straight upright position, lower cog with almost non visible exhaust beneath the chassis, its more like an off track bike where you could just stand on the pegs and keep hopping here and there.
Non the less ... it should be fun.. awaiting to have a test ride somehow.
However, I find the saddle more comfortable then my CBR. So thats def a plus for long rides.

      • The duke 200 probably being in a higher-than-usual state of tune for a 200 cc engine, I wonder how much KTM ASS is going to charge for regular service and spares.

one can buy a new bike in place of power parts as they are verrrryyyy costly....

            yeah i guess so...
if this duke launch in Indonesia, a lot of pulsar owner will buy this bike. our hobby is touring the java island, so this bike would modified by a WingRack + sidebox + topbox.
but it will look weird since the tail is so small and cute

i guess its a good street bike and would be an excellent off-roader. Though, the low tank capacity id of great concern.

I heard them saying it to be around 30 kmpl. That would effectively come out to be around 25-27kmpl in city I guess... ... quite heavy on pocket for chasing the fun ....
