I just came back from having a look at this Duke,
and its simply pure quality n quality with the looks of it. It shows off from every inch of bike.
Such care has been taken off, that even side stand toe has big rubber toe at bottom of it.
I read somewhere tank is plastic, Well I did touch it, and if it was plastic, man it was one helluva plastic material which didn't seem like one
Console is obviously going to blow you away. By now you would be already infatuated with it And once you throttle it and hear its sound and no jerkyness from any part...you have fallen in love

The accessories are definitely costly since they are "Phoren" maal.

Not JUST speculation sirji... It's mentioned in KTM mega review on the fist page itself. I know you have gone through it....

I think that was for "Accessories" and "Add ons".. which I repeat are "Phoren" Maal.

But yes, if KTM owners get "EXCLUSIVE" VIP service.. then I don't mind a premium rate for such a service experience.

Found below mentioned rates in the review. So thought spares will be costly...

          • Sprocket: Rs. 3500-4500
          • Chain: Rs. 6000-7000

(although mentioned as "***Prices tentative, may change later")

          +1 to that...

          • Hold on your horses.

New Pulsar range is going to be launched on 30th January.
Agreed Duke 200 has got some quality parts to it but the main reason we are all interested in this is because of its Power to weight ratio.

So what we have seen from spy shots of new Pulsar it was quite clear that new Pulsar is using KTM Engines. So if a Pulsar 200 is launched with the same KTM engine minus other expensive parts. I would buy the new Pulsar. I heard that its gonna be launched in the range of Rs 90,000-95,000. Making it an awesome deal.

Don't see the figures on the official site either, anybody around here has some idea?

The KTM 200 Duke uses a 199.50cc single-cylinder engine that produces 25PS at 10,000rpm and 19.2Nm at 8000rpm, and weighs in at 126kg dry and Power to weight ratio for this pocket rocket at 184PS/tonne

                      Thanks bro, guess I did. 25 ain't bad for a 200cc engine.

My dear, the Sprocket and Chain that you are quoting are "after market add ons" from KTM under it's Power Parts range.. and are "Phoren Maal" and not SPARES.

The actual SPARES will come from the desi vendors.
