The older RTR had Clean, Compact lines and Tight dimensions. Something which set it apart (USP) from the other "Hunky/Beastly" models.

well it doesn't look that bad upclose like pics, but it sure is lacking the understated elegance of old predator.and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road
(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

yes, somewhat but only upper portion, isn't it. btw, from front the headlamp design is awesome when the LED's and strips are illuminated, giving it a real charecter. sadly it also stops there.Originally posted by lockhrt999 View PostThe headlight of this Apache can be said to be inspired from current generation Pulsar.
rest of the bike just cosmetic changes. may be they are justing buying some more time to redesign the entire apache line up just like pulsars.
am i being too optimistic.

Like the new design and paint scheme.
There used to be a time a few years back, where catch phrases such as "Fear the Black", "Jet Set Go", used to sell bikes.
With the 150cc+ market being flooded with constant upgrades to existing models and a flurry of new entrants coming in, I hope TVS does not hype the bike to an extent where it becomes a double edged sword.______________________________________

Very much disappointed due to the absence of the performance upgrades. From the pictures, don't really like the cosmetic updates.
But as a company, one must maintain its 'face' at the market and I feel TVS has done exactly that. Also, as someone mentioned above, TVS could be buying time for a 200/250cc version of the same.

The seat looks like total ripp off from TVS Jive
...and in all,the bike looks incomplete, and a bit commuterish...
But seriously loving the Headlight design.... will definitely change mine....
What it looks like is,its more functional than the previous model, with so many detailed changes alround.. but unfortunately, all of them together dont gel up well...

Headlight assembly will be dear
as speedo + stay(bracket) + RTR logo plate all have to be changed and not sure if it could run properly with AC, existing ABS bikes wouldnt have problem i guess. Lot of attention given to minor details(footpegs + switch) but its NOT RTR anymore !

This upgrade was a big let down from TVS ...
only some couple of changes in the headlight and some colour change does not justify the expectations of the buyers ...
Or may be we buyers expected more from a company from whom we should not
