Plus, I am not sure if the PSD's will be able to reign the torque of the 390 properly. Needs super grippy tyres.

Need good tires for sure but many owners may choose cheaper option if Metlizer gonna cost 10k+ every single change(though its a quiet lasting tire + the goodies) . Most of'em may go bak to D200's tires. Better options from Continentals? IRCs? PSD, but known for its sudden death! It would be great if Metzeler start their production here! but shouldn't end up like Michelin India having only brand name but no quality n common if compared to their early/original ones.
And the pulsars may be handling similar torque figures with mrf/tvs tires!

Edit: anyway its too early for a tire change

Maybe the Autocar journo was smoking up some weed when he/she wrote this ...

The adjustable rear brake pedal is better positioned than on the 200 Duke, but the 390 Duke lacks steel braided brake lines, as are offered with the 200.
Just because the hose is wrapped in rubber, it doesn't mean its not steel braided. Look at the pics closely to verify that it is indeed steel braided lines.

    Good review.
Tops at 133 kmh in 4th and 157 kmh in 5th.
Cruises easily at 130 kmh at 7000 rpm in 6th gear.
Feels stable at all speeds despite its light weight.

With a bigger wind shield offered as power part this could be a very good touring bike besides being the best street bike at the market...

Guys I had a source and got to book my duke 390 yesterday with a 40000 rs deposit. Official bookings to commence as per the dealer in may and deliveries could take upto June. Btw had some fun with the RC8R on display as well!
