This is good news, so do they plan to sale the engines only or do they plan to build a bike around it as well. As everyone else has said more info is definitely Welcome

The tech specs haven't been released (Except that it is a 700).They will be once approved by the authorities.Also the application for patent has been made and the final details(Pricing and type of product i.e kit or complete bike) will be released on acquiring the patent.

why will RE allow somebody else to make another engine/bike with its engine parts

Whatever it is, i am hooked on to this thread..waiting for more..
I am wondering what frame would they be putting it into or what changes would they be doing rather

may be it will be offered as an upgrade to regular RE customers ? like joel does for pulsars et al ?

The 'Musket' has a 65/90(Am not sure of the angle) same with the crabberry twin.If you realise the difficulty of making a 45 degree then you will realise that it is a notable feat.The RE engine is a parallel twin and as I hear from the thumpers group people who dig for inside news they are saying that the engine has some glitches and will take time to fix.The TB 500 also has been delayed as you know the launch was originally planned for the early second quarter this year but it has still not hit the streets..
