    Even in India, some from other country don't need an IDP for driving. But if you are going to drive or ride in Nepal you will be required D/L with chipset based.

      Dada..Why we are even bothering what is the rule for IDP in other countries.Being an Indian you have to obtain the IDP from your local RTO or Automobile association.For IDP issued in Maharashtra at least they need the Passport and License address to be same.
