Mahindra to launch a Whole New Range of Motorcycles in the first week of January
not to offend anyone, may i know which "class" mojo belongs to..??
Dear, why would anyone really care about the "class" of one's motorcycle as long as he/she enjoys riding it and the bike meets his/her requirements?
I hope M&M doesn't give in to the initial difficulties they faced and shelve the bike. May they put up a brave face and re-launch the bike perfecting whatever faults they might have faced.
Like many other, I too am eagerly waiting for any news about their launch.

agreed, as long you are enjoying it, the class of motorcycle does not matter.....my question was - what is its class, since you said they are of different class. plz try to understand the question and answer, rather then circumventing it.
according to me, it does not belong to any class at all.

If I have assumed correctly that you and I have meant the same by the word "class", I would say that Mojo can be a Tourer/Cruiser.

I don't see anything wrong with the looks of the Mojo. To me its an amazing looking bike, and a classic naked design which is IMO any day better looking than the Duke 200.
And if there can be a motorbike called "Dream Yuga" or "Slingshot" or "Twister" or "Glamour", and a car named "Gypsy" or "Duster" or "Padmini" or the best of them all, "Laura", there is nothing wrong with the name "Mojo". Since when have all Indian vehicles had amazing names ?
had a chance to talk with one of the member who is in R&D of M&M motorcycle division, and about asking for Mojo , he said it will never gonna see the light of the day.
the owner of M&M was very much personally interested in motorcycle division he said and about 5 Mojo's were brought to R&D team to evaluate and rectify the problems and the majority of the R&D team given big thumbs down to MOjo and strongly objected to its release and they also found lot of problems which needed lot of work to rectify, and hence the Mojo was left to die.
also the board and Mr.Mahindra convinced that a bad name in motorcycle could dent overall company name
I hope people make right sense of what you posted. Mojo is not being scrapped off because of its looks or name, but because of numerous engineering flaws which were detected my their engineers on the prototypes.
Currently without a vehicle. Uber App and Bangalore Metro serving all my travel needs.

Gypsy is a very apt name Sir.! It describes the vehicle in just one word.

How does an ethnic group living mostly in Europe whose origin has been traced genetically to a group migrating from the north western Indian subcontinent about 1500 years ago describe a vehicle in just one word ?

Sir, plz Dont compare names like Mojo and slingshot with legendary Gypsy and Padmini.
Padmini is a classic name and just hearing that name reminds you of that era.
Duster name clearly says that this car loves off-roading
Gypsy is a word also used to describe Travelers and that is what a Gypsy is built to do.

gypsy One inclined to a nomadic, unconventional way of life.
Very suitable name for a 4x4 built to take on any terrain and lead a rough life.
And Duster does not refer the duster that your school teacher used
Ok...so from the looks ...this discussion now diverted to names... Hmmnn...
Does a bullet, goes like a bullet, or can u discover something new on a discover, is padmini a girlish vehicle, do you become a duke of some state when you own a duke, .....
These are just names.....
My name is prince.....does it make me a real prince of some place....
Whats in a name...it is used to indentify something or someone, and in some cases create a good first impression....thats it..
so today, the launch date of mojo will be declared..?? according to motoroids..??
From the looks of things, you can expect something by afternoon today.
