Any idea about the pricing, guys? That's one aspect we haven't discussed yet. I hope Bajaj considers the fact that many of the youngsters (potential customers of the SS) live off their parents. Anything around 1 lakh would be acceptable I guess.

I have ridden the CBR150R and yes may be a kinda similar to that of 200NS's feel, can't be 100% guarantee as there was a substantial long gap when I rode a CBR150R and a 200NS, but as they say, CBR is indeed meant to ride at high rpm's. . .

IMO might be around 15-20k above the present 200NS. . .

        Fairing with projectors - ~10000/-
        if FI - Minimum 10000/-
if ABS is standard - minimum 10000/-

so I see ~30000/- over the P200 SS if ABS is a standard fitting.. but I am sure its going to be additional if the customer wants it..

what ABS doing there on Pulsar - 200 SS and what is the sense of launching a faired version for the bike they already have in naked form they first have to discontinue their naked version then launch this one coz when there is a more advance form of the bike available in the market for few extra thousand bucks who gonna buy their naked one. So i guess this pulsar 200ss is actually a pulsar 375 with engine from ktm duke 390.
Yes it sure looks like a 200ss for many of us here. . .

The sense of launching a faired motorcycle is in a country like our Indian, people tend to go to more of faired motorcycle , that's my opinion, so and also as Bajaj never had a fully faired motorcycle and after seeing the growth in the market for faired motorcycles, guess they are launching for the same reason, to boost up sales. . .

No problem if both are sold side by side, those who have a budget constrict and love naked, can go for 200NS and those who love fairing will go for 200SS. . .

It's not that, it's just their way of improving their products, as I said above, same goes here, 200SS for tight budget guys who don't want to miss out the fun and 375 for those who have that extra cash to shell out and get a bigger and better one. . .

          Cheers!!!

That's still under 1.1 lakh. Anything above that mark would be asking too much (for the Non-ABS version). Pricing is what worries me the most right now.

Yeah man I hope they somehow manage to release a Non-ABS version for a premium of around 20k over the NS.

Fi I doubt as presently there's no problem with the carb and about the ABS, may be that might be given as a choice, ABS/Non-ABS, what say now . . .

Same here mate , I am thinking about the pricing part, as far as I believe, it won't exceed too much, guess including OTR it might come up until 1.15 lac or so, . .

              Cheers!!!

You're right bro, if whatever 200ss package may include ,exceeds price of 1.25 or above ,I don't think people will be taking it hands on ,as then it won't be a vfm type IMHO

Well.. in that case.. if it is doubted to be FI.. (like you said, the bike is already doing well and no point in adding FI to it)

then with ABS.. it is a pretty good buy at 1.1L.. agreed?? and even better with out ABS at 1L the ZMR fairing including the headlight would cost me 6770/- now since the P200 SS headlight will have 2 projectors.. I assume it will cost nothing more than 10,000/-

remember that the ZMR uses high quality plastics which don't break so easily..

                  Its just my calculation...

Sighhh!!!!!! No signs of P375 so no point in talking about it

                    You know maths . . ?

Okay now back as we say indeed Hero use high quality products, may be Bajaj might not be that much but still taking that aside, we can think about the price as that much. . . So, let me see which I will get in the future, a 200NS or a 200SS or a GSX150R (am already drooling too much about this ) or my favourite CBR150R. . .

Indeed it would be a good buy for that price bracket and ever since Bajaj entered their new generation, launching the 200NS, there has been an increase in the quality too, which are improved as compared to their previous generation pulsars. . . Let's just see what it is, I can't wait to have a test ride of this soon after it hits the showrooms here . . .

                    Cheers!!!

OT.. the GSX150R will not look as great as its elder siblings.. it will be more like the R15 and maybe a bit more powerful..

Not only the quality but also the vibrations have reduced.. correct me if I am wrong.. though I haven't tried the bike, everyone who moved from old generation pulsars to the 200NS say so.. so just putting that point here

Yes indeed there's a whole new set of improvement in the new gen bikes and as I have rode both, the new one scores in all the aspects. . . Better handling, better power, for the first time, excellent brakes, only tires suck, so is the case with 200ss. . . Rev hard and as mentioned in previous pages, the sounds soothing and not irritating. . .

can't be sure that the beat or the exhaust sound will be the same.. you know.. they have designed a new exhaust.. so slight change in the sound is expect-able..

Let's just see what it is, I can't wait to have a test ride of this soon after it hits the showrooms here . . .

                              Cheers!!!
cbr 150 is very over priced....
I think honda and yamaha should come with naked versions of r15, cbr150 and 250. It will give people a range of new options with lower costs...

OT.. the GSX150R will not look as great as its elder siblings.. it will be more like the R15 and maybe a bit more powerful..

Not only the quality but also the vibrations have reduced.. correct me if I am wrong.. though I haven't tried the bike, everyone who moved from old generation pulsars to the 200NS say so.. so just putting that point here
I think its high time now. Bajaj should control vibrations to attract honda and yamaha customer base....

A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith and use up a lot of fuel....

That's right, oops forgot about the new exhaust which is added in it . . . Yup a slight variation will be there IMO, whatever hope it's good to hear, that's all we want . . .

but my blind love to the 150R ever since I tasted the first blood makes me forget that pricing part , may be it uses a different technology which is over that of R15, that's the reason it's priced heavily, again let's not distract to something else OT. . .

Yup there are slight complaints saying vibs here and there in the NS, of course which bike is perfect. . ? Let's just hope it's minimised if not fully absent. . .

                                Cheers!!!
