    10,000 bookings in just 18 days!

    Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. announced that it has received an overwhelming response to its new Mahindra Centuro motorcycle with over 10,000 bookings being made by customers across India within 3 weeks of launch.

    The Mahindra Centuro was launched on July 18.5 BHP @ 7500 RPM, 8.5 Nm of peak torque @ 5500 rpm and an astounding mileage of 85.4 kmpl (ARAI).

    Additional innovative features include an Anti Theft Alarm with Engine Immobiliser, an encrypted Remote Flip KeyEconomy Mode indicator. It also offers a Maintenance Free Battery and is backed by a 5-year warranty that would ensure peace of mind for the owner.

    The fully loaded Mahindra Centuro is available across India at an Introductory Price of Rs. 45,000 (ex showroom- New Delhi).

        I had seen a brand new Centuro on the road a couple of days back and honestly I was a bit taken aback! The pricing is really attractive on this one and it comes with all the functional goodies. Though I have not ridden this bike yet, I did feel the lack of outright punch from the *almost mechanically identical* Pantero as compared to a Discover 100(5G). But then sometimes gizmos can be used to overcome this lack of outright performance.

        Overall it seems like a well thought out product by Mahindra at an unbeatable pricetag. Nice to see M2W doing well. If only they can tell me the updated location of their SVC in Nasik now (My Rodeo needs a service ).
        Advice is a form of nostalgia.
        Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

                We have a long enough list of flop 'high mileage , cheap commuter' bikes in the market to know that it is not as simple as you just made it out to be.

                  All bikes in this segment are more or less same sans the goodies.

                  The goodies coming with this bike are unbelievable and unheard of even in the segments above it. Are we talking bikes here or what!?

                          Good first shot for Mahindra, and the bookings are truly astonishing for a newbie in two wheeler market. It's not just the bike but the additional user friendly features not to be left the unbelievable mileage that has garnered it these many bookings. Some of these features are totally new for bikes and surely Mahindra wanted stand out of the crowd.

                          See, competition is good for the consumers in the end and pushes for better quality products.

                            Ok 10000 bookings are fine but where will they service it . Do they really have the infrastructure . I see so many Duros running in awful condition.

                              yes quite practical question there!!!
                              by the way this bike gives better fuel efficiency then most 100cc bikes & Honda's Dream neo would be main reason behind its success..
