Expect @IndiaTriumph to offer a wide bike range in India, priced only a bit higher than target prices given 2 yrs ago at the Auto Expo

Baby Haley , Street 750 , will be less than 5 lakhs !!! Triumph India is already under pressure , considering Street 500 will be launched later.

They better have their Baby Tiger ready

                  cheers

All of sudden every company is getting their products in India like KTM, Honda, Triupmh (waiting from long ago though), Harley before selecting anything I think we must wait till mid of 2014 to clear the scene....
                    KTM RC390 - Current
                    Yamaha R15 v2 - Sold
                    Hero Hunk - Sold

@docted. Thanks for the link. Sumbly is an old Bajaj hand and some of his colleagues here in the auto industry say that he is THE man for the job.

I used to follow bikes and biking in the mid Eighties and early Nineties (before marriage seized my engine, shorted my spark plug and deflated my tyres) and one common thread running in all the auto magazines I subscribed to was the phenomenally professional approach of Triumph in all their operations. If it still has its mojo intact, I have very faith that Triumph will set a benchmark for what a newbie overseas company can and should do while starting its operations in India unlike that set by a famous Italian one (which went out for a Duc(k)? small pun there...)

I am not a "T" fanboy but have read virtually zilch bad press about the bikes and the company in even the more exacting foreign auto websites and ezines. Perhaps, there is a method to the big T's madness in delaying its work here.
