A bit OT here...!! But, couldn't resist posting...on that very page an Ad from Hero Honda is also given...stating that HH has been the "World's no. 1" two wheeler company...and that too 8 years in a Row.

He said the Kawasaki Ninja 250 is expected to be priced above Rs 2 lakh
2 Lakh?? Thank god i didn't waste more time awaiting the Ninja [Read: 2 Lakh INR]..

ThunderBird seems to be a better bet for me...

This is what Vicky has to say :
Finally, Bajaj officially announced the launch date for Ninja 250. But don’t jump to the skies coz unlike previously stated Bajaj now says that the Kawasaki Ninja will not be assembled in India and will be imported as CBU (Completely Built Unit) which means this price will go up significantly. Expect the price of Ninja 250 to be upwards of Rs2 lakh, “The Kawasaki Ninja 250 will be launched soon by May or June and was likely to be priced above Rs 2 lakh,” Mr Rajiv Bajaj, the company’s Managing Director, said. “While the Kawasaki Ninja will be introduced as a completely-built unit, we will assemble KTM’s bigger bikes, like the Duke and RR, at our Chakan facility” he added.

Bajaj is seriously messing with the Ninja fans.... like me.

First they say CKD. Then they backtrack to CBU. 2+ lacs. Launch date still tentative. @#RERE#$#$!

Not a good time to play with our emotions

On serious note with no confirm news, 2009 might go just like 2008

^^ Just to renew all the enthusiasm, and to let people justify the two hundred thousand plus they would be spending to get one! After all, a picture speaks more than a thousand words ever could!

Here's coming back to this almost dead thread. I am not sure if many ppl know abt this. Interesting fact. The Kawasaki ZX 250 has a positive neutral finder. Which means when the motorcycle is standing still, the transmission cannot be shifted past neutral from 1st gear. To use the positive neutral finder, shift down to 1st gear, then lift up on the shift pedal while standing still. The transmission will shift only into neutral.

What a great great addition. Pulsar owners know what I am talking about.
