Re: Ducati to finally enter India directly!

    Can someone confirm this:

"Ducati India has officially commenced operations from today, an auspicious day of Gudi Padwa. Ducati pulled out out of India a few years back due to distributor related issues and this time has re-entered the market by itself through 3 initial fully functional dealerships in Mumbai (Infinity), Delhi and Gurgaon (AMP). The latter is the brand’s largest outlet in the world!"

Well the company has said that the scrambler will follow soon. Not sure what the word was for Multistrada.

I am wondering why to launch the 796 here in India when you are launching the 795 . The 795 was made because the 796 was too tall for asians. And now they are launching the 796 too with a price difference of over a lakh rupees? Will indians pay 1.1 lacs for some seat height and single sided swingarm?

And alloys. And chasis. The 795 has the 696 chassis. the 796 has the newer chasis.

The 795 in India gets ABS as standard.

Is the current version of 795 having ABS or the old one which was launched around 2012/2013 in India also had ABS ?
