I expect it to have 4 valves, underbelly exhaust, 6 speed transmission, may be the 3 spark plugs tech ?? who knows. and most importantly a perimeter steel frame which will turn this into a bomb. We shouldn't worry about the seat height and Bajaj knows well about the requirements of a family person. It will defintely not have same seat height as 200NS. But........... I don't know if I'm happy after seeing this news. P200NS shouldn't lose it's exclusive killer appearance on the road... So yea.. mixed feelings. Lol, one thing for sure, once this 150NS comes out, 200NS will be very safe to park anywhere because the visual style of this street fighter will become too common, nobody would care to hover over my bike then xD.

Re: Is this the new Pulsar 150NS/180NS?
those who crying about the same design and loosing fame, remember even the current gen pulsars got their design from p220 and none of the bikes lost its fame till now and are the best in their segments .. even though p180(wit p150 frame model) had the same black theme for engine people just loved the old p200 because of its beefy looks .7, same gonna be the case with new gen p150ns/180ns and 200ns
also did anyone notice that theirs no provision for any sort of tyre hugger on both the test mulls so guess they both might come with rear mudguard..
think someone mentioned the crankcase is similar to 200ns?!! no way its similar to ns ,its more lika new discover engines..
and the p150ns might come with softer suspensions helping in reducing the saddle height
only one thing that im concerned about is that carb tuning and air filter cleaning with be a big headache as frequent removing of tanks(plastic) from the local mechs is the worst part afraid that it may result in vibs/loose prone parts ,considering most of the p150 will go to local mechsLast edited by abhiiceman; 01-23-2014, 09:54 PM.

Worst thing is the discover-ish alloys IMOThe way you ride is the way you are..

I am sorry I do not agree on this. I was speaking about the 200 NS and the Discover 125ST and they ARE different. This bike has the alloys of the 125ST and not the NS. You might want to have a look again.Originally posted by abhiiceman View Postall pulsars , discovers and even platina shared the same alloy design till now
200NS owners please correct me if I am wrong in saying that the NS does not share the same alloys withs the 125ST
IMO the alloys do not go well with the overall look of this bike in the spy picsThe way you ride is the way you are..

Re: Is this the new Pulsar 150NS/180NS?
i was refering to pulsars prior to ns as they had their alloys shared with discover and platina. bikes costing 93k(p220) to 40k(platina) had the same alloy so nothing new with this.Originally posted by Deathmate.Zed View PostI am sorry I do not agree on this. Two things come to my mind:Originally posted by Cleaner View PostThe bike just came to the local dealer, they are not gonna start selling them yet though, I noticed the delivery truck and started following it to the SVC and saw them unload these new bikes.
1. You need to wake up from your sleep
2. or if it were reality, those were P200NS at SVC
If you still feel otherwise then can you mention which dealer it was? I am sure many xbhpian would like to verify this claim!Contribute to the environment.

Re: Is this the new Pulsar 150NS/180NS?
Its not shown up in bangalore as yet as i pass by one of bajajs showrooms every day. However, i have one question, why do bajaj copy one style completely to all the pulsars even though the existing P200 looks wont suit much for the smaller ones. Its not only about the looks..its about the performance with looks. Being a Pulsar 150 owner myself..i feel the looks and performance ratio is not matching. For example the cost cut tyres, rims, seats etc...Last edited by gutsy; 01-24-2014, 02:45 PM.

Re: Is this the new Pulsar 150NS/180NS?
Its my Lucky Day. I was going to buy 200NS next month. But my papa said a big "NO" to a 200cc bike. Guess then I will go for 150NS or 180NS
Or perhaps the new 150GIXER. Whatever it is, very good news for me, waiting eagerly for the 2014 AutoEXPO

You Sure about that??Originally posted by 883 View Postgod ........... not again
the same old wine in new bottle
I would call the lines of CB Unicorn and CB Dazzler/Trigger as "Old Wine in New Bottle"
To me this one looks as "New Wine in Old Bottle"
i.e Old (Familiar) Bottle = Familiar Styling & New Wine = New Engine
Agree exclusivity of the 200NS will be diluted but the positive would be there would be more NS on the roads.. which meansOriginally posted by Rakesh Rok View PostAnd now for my planning to go for 200NS, should I go for it that these stupid same looking both 150 plus 180cc are being released :'(
. . ? The bike won't enjoy the same fame after these two or this one being released.
[1] Easy availability of shared/common parts
[2] The service guys would now be more used to service the NS Series
This is the way smart business operate
Every smart manufacturer will try to utilize the opportunity to utilize sharing of Platforms ie. Engine, Body or Both
Companies in India that use same engine platform in different body styles : Honda, Hero, Yamaha (currently)
Companies in India that use similar body styles with different engines : Bajaj (with Pulsar and Discover), TVS (RTR 160/180) and KTM (125/200/390 Duke and RC 125/200/390)
Royal Enfield is the smartest of them all and uses both the engine and body platforms.
Two engines: 350 and 500 cc and 4 body styles: Bullet (350/500), Classic (350/500), Electra (350), Thunderbird (350/500)
The C-GT is a totally different body with a slightly tweaked 500 cc engine.
No point cribbing here.
One can always choose from the options available in the market in different permutations and combination from different manufacturers.

Totally agree with your point, remember we had a discussion regarding the same the other day tooOriginally posted by payeng View PostAgree exclusivity of the 200NS will be diluted but the positive would be there would be more NS on the roads.. which means

. . . It's indeed a ingenious way to market their products but the only drawback here is the exclusivity of the 200NS will be lost which is a BIG Disappointment to present NS riders. . .
Anyways for those who were wishing for NS and/or wanted something similar with a lesser price tag, the 150/180NS will serve their needs. . . At least I would recommend that Bajaj changes at least paint scheme to make each other unique which might make them good too. . . Again at the end of the day performance/handling is what I ask for and hope these two are better as compared to their previous gen pulsars. . . Speaking about other manufacturers, the only reason everyone doesn't comment about KTM and RC's are because it's INTERNATIONAL COMPANY, LOL. . . Again, a different colours is sure welcomed. . .
Hoping these two handle the same way as the 200NS do. . .
PS: But I still Love NS now too
. . .
Cheers!!!
