If you get this info from dealership, they may be fooling you, so far, there is no official notice from Bajaj regarding the price decrease. AFAIK 200NS already costs around 94k on-road there, shadowgun broken87 should be able to confirm.Originally posted by shrey1992 View PostI am back!

Yamaha Motor India announces an initiative to benefit both dealers and customers on account of Excise Duty reduction
The company has decided to pass on the price differential on in-hand and transit inventory thereby enabling dealers to pass on 100% benefit to customers
Yamaha Motor India today announced a decision with respect to the transit as well as in-hand inventory lying with the dealers on account of the recent declaration on excise duty cut by the Finance Ministry. This announcement followed the company’s earlier notice to cut prices on all its models (including scooters) across India with immediate effect. The price cut ranges from Rs.1033 to Rs. 3066 depending on the variants.
The company has decided to pass on the differential amount to the dealers on their existing as well as transit stock in order to enable them to immediately extend 100% benefit to the customers. This is the direct impact of the excise duty cut from 12% to 8%.
Roy Kurian, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. -
2013 has been a fruitful year for Yamaha as it witnessed a 33% growth rate despite a sluggish market. The company plans to sell 8.3 lakh units in 2014 with 6 lakh units in domestic sales and 2.3 lakh units in export sales. To achieve this the company’s focus will be on strengthening the mass segment, increasing the manufacturing competitiveness to produce cost efficient models, capacity expansion as well as enhancing Yamaha Motor India’s Sales and service network.“The announcement from the FM comes at a very opportune time when the sentiments are high right after the Auto Expo and the industry is seeing an upward trend. We are glad to be passing on the entire benefit to our customers by creating a favorable arrangement with our dealers. As a responsible manufacturer we believe in being transparent to both dealers and our end customers. With this decision, we aim to further enhance our sales and achieve greater levels of customer satisfaction.”Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Yea for cheaper bikes. (and this comes hardly a week after I shelled out almost all of my savings on my cbr150r) I'm so happy I could jump off a cliff and not feel anything. ... (old story but I had to) :-(
