The Finance Minister has just announced that the Excise Duty on Two Wheelers has been reduced to 8% from 12%.
The reduction in Excise Duty by 4 percentage points may or may not bring down the prices. We still await word from the manufacturers whether they will be passing on the benefit to the end consumer, or not.

Btw, I had signed somewhere that the current price (during booking) is not final and any change in the price before delivery will be reflected on the date of the purchase. Obviously they added it for the case of increase in price but it should apply here as well 
But, but it will help only if KTM decides to slash price 
. I have booked a Ninja 650 and awaiting delivery. this cut in excise duty may not be applicable for me right since its a CKD. But if there is some localization of parts will it be applicable??
