From Zauba : https://www.zauba.com/ - registration is free and is required if you want to view results beyond the first pageOriginally posted by Shaurya7 View PostHi Tanay,
Where do you get these cool snapshots from?
In the Product Description box you put in the query words (e.g. KTM 1290, R25 etc) or leave it blank for all results.
In the HS Code box, there are 2 options relevant for bikes:
1) 8711 for motorcycles
2) 8714 for motorcycle parts - useful if you want to look at CKD or SKD or even R&D parts being brought in
For both HS Codes you will have further refinements e.g. 87115000 means motorcycles of >800 cc displacement200 | 300 | 1200 BOXER

Re: Random News Thread From India!
Yamaha has imported parts of the NMAX 150 (or 125?) scooter for testing purposes.
Now this is a 125/150cc LC Fi scooter which is going to be expensive. Also I highly doubt many people here would be interested in scooters.
But I am posting it anyway because timepass.
If interested, hit http://www.yamaha-motor.co.id/download.html and compare part codes.200 | 300 | 1200 BOXER

Re: Random News Thread From India!
Okay so a lot of new stuff!
1) KTM has imported 2 units of the 500EXC for R&D -
2) Yamaha has imported 2 units of the XTZ250Z (Tenere 250) - the entries don't specify R&D but parts for this bike were coming in earlier
3) A Honda XR250 and a Suzuki DR200 - so these don't say R&D but this is the first time that bikes like these have been imported here, so I've included them-
Could be some kind of competitive benchmarking going on.
All of the above bikes are small adventure - the kind we really need here.
EDIT - A glance in the parts section tells us that Honda has imported a giant-sized batch of CBR 650 parts for assembly. Must be getting closer to launch.Last edited by tanay; 06-09-2015, 10:12 AM.200 | 300 | 1200 BOXER

No room for vrooming Bullets - Bangalore MirrorWait is this guy really serious or is this just a blanket statement? Or is this only referring to exhaust alterations?Transport commissioner Rame Gowda, said, "Altering a vehicle can cause environmental pollution and is an offence. It invites a penalty of up to Rs 1,000. Some people have the habit of altering vehicles to an extent where they are unrecognizable. This can invite cancellation of vehicle registration. We ask people not to go for alterations as this is against rules."Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
