    If they are doing it in Indonesia and Thailand, Why not in India ?? Is it because of the local demand or the commute segment is happy with 100+ cc bikes. Even if the local demands rise, how in the world will that be communicated to the manufacturers,

      They have to take this step at some point. R15 has been a success and still continues to be in demand. Only god knows and the stupid management of Yamaha India as to why they aren't releasing these bikes here :|
      R25/R3/MT series etc. All could have been successful here.

          Hi @Barkha, sorry for late reply....I've always vouched for premium bikes...and at premium prices...cause that will maintain quality and somewhat exclusivity...115 kmph on a scooter !!! well it might be but it will not be that safe...cause of the inevitable smaller wheels and weak brakes...hope you agree to that...and yes at that price range a well kept FZ can touch 115 kmph with ZERO vibrations...as for R25..no USDs...

              And i am back after hibernation of many months.

              Latest from my side is that be ready for either R25/R3 in next 2 months. before april end you will know which of the 2 is coming to india and when. i obviously cant disclose my resource but he is the best that i know of. got call from him today. most of the dealers are having meeting with yamaha india in mid of april about the launch.

                    It(R1) does have multi-level traction control which includes anti locking.

                        Well Yamaha seems to be considering the MT09 and MT07 for India. The MT09 was imported earlier but the MT07 has just landed for R&D Testing and Evaulation.
