Some cosmetic changes only. Still the fuel tank in white looks pretty good.

And it is already leaking oil. They should have invested the money on quality rather than rebranding

Re: Royal Enfield Gets a new Makeover

All five RE bought in my acquainTance circle in past 5 months leak tremendous amount of oil ( for me) ,for them it's normal.
I couldn't stand even two droplets of oil coming from my engine block ,went straight to svc to fix the rubber seal .and they ride normally with thud thud and leaking oil.

Hahaha, true that. The oil level check window is for future when they eventually fix oil leak.

I got that fixed after my first service. But I have heard that it starts usually after long rides.

FYI, the oil leak is a thing of the past, looks like you only hear and like stories of 10+ years. The new REs with UCE engines don't leak oil, yes you may find it hard to believe but oil leak is a thing of the past. How easily we jump to conclusions when it matches what we like to hear- that oil patch is due to the oil spill from servicing when they replace the oil.

You had a good joke there but fortunately its not true anymore.

i agree on that part.. there is no oil leakage in new engines.. the whole funda with old engines were that they were using stone age casts to make engine parts and they were not accurate to mm . hence would never fit perfect and would always leak oil from crankcase or filter assembly.. my 77 still leaks oil...

we just pulled a quick one over the oil...

on a side note : that comment does hold true for the old engines..
