    Today is the inauguration of KTM's second showroom in cochin. They said they will have TD vehicle after 10 days only in both the showrooms....

        Good for you, I dropped by a new KTM showrrom that is being opened near my house and enquired about the TD for RC200 and the funny response I got was its still being launched and we wont get it for a month atleast . I questioned the sales person back saying the Bookings are already commenced across India and he was surprised when i told this. Not sure if i made a mistake there or those guys are not updated.

          Booked RC390😍 on 15th Sept even though i was getting white Kawasaki Ninja 300 for 2.5 😊
          And when i asked Dealer whether i will get my beast before Diwali; he replied that first lot may get Delivered before Diwali

            Congrats swapnil6788 on your booking...would love to see the beast prowling on our Indian roads...but how a N300 for 2.5L ??

              Ninja was used one and owner quoted me 2.7l ; i was ready to pay 2.5 as i was frustrated waiting for RC , Ninja owner was ready for negotiation; but then Beast got launched with mouth watering price
              I was expecting at least 2.25 -2.4l ex showroom but 2.05 👍

                      From the look I am guessing it's Halogen. because of the light colour, yellow vs the white bluish glow of the Xenon HID.
                      HID is banned in reflector headlights.
                      However you can use HID within projector setup and many brands like Audi, BMW, Skoda etc. do it.

                      By the Have you heard the RC390??? Bike sounds so much different than the Duke 390!
                      I can't believe how KTM did that. But there is a multi cylinder whoosing sound from the exhaust!
                      and about those headlights, they are very powerful. I was there at the Kolkata unveiling yesterday (yes, we are late).. but I noticed the sound difference was so much that had to take the video! Also captured the headlight, as so many people are interested in it!

                            I heard the rc200's exhaust note today ,
                            It's a bit different from the duke 200 but the difference is not as immense as the rc 390 to the duke 390.
                            Another quality factor I'm worried abt is the speedo/console .
                            When I tried to push one of the buttons on the rc390 ,the whole console got pushed a bit inside :/
                            But the rc 200's seemed sturdy...

                              I have another doubt !
                              I heard the rc390 is shorter geared to make it stall lesser at lower speeds , but it has a very linear acceleration .
                              How is this possible ? Shouldn't it explode with acceleration with shorter gears considering the mere 8-9 kg difference and how does the bike manage to have a higher top speed if it's shorter geared ?

                                Okay.. For Hyderabad folks.. The begumpet fellas told that the deliveries will happen after diwali.. Next month test rides open up.. The 200 will come to display next month..
