Re: KTM RC 200 & RC 390 Launched
You are talking about the bar-end weights. The D200 do not have them but the 390 does. Same case with the corresponding RCs.Originally posted by hackernewbie View Post..2. The bit that extends out at both ends of the handle bar were missing in the 200. (check out the image)

Keep your fingers crossed, you may have a TR report from me soon! oops!
Yes, that's what I am talking about!Originally posted by Deathmate.Zed View PostYou are talking about the bar-end weights. The D200 do not have them but the 390 does. Same case with the corresponding RCs.
And did you mean, "Same case with the corresponding dukes"?
Can we get them added later?

Re: KTM RC 200 & RC 390 Launched
Not needed, because they are there on 390 to contain the vibes, which are almost non existent on the 200.you can though.those are pulsars barends, wont cost muchOriginally posted by hackernewbie View Post

One more thing I did not like in the RC the brake/clutch levers and the grip seemed to be from the Bajaj Discovers!!

Levers agree.those will be the first things that go off the bike. Grips are good and ktm branded, if you notice closely. The dukes grips are straight lift from pulsars and dont look good apart from being poky.the rc grips are very comfy, have ridden bike close to 15kms.Originally posted by hackernewbie View PostOkay!

In duke we can change the handle bar to 390s to add on the knuckle protector...Originally posted by hackernewbie View Post

Re: KTM RC 200 & RC 390 Launched
Doesnt even look half as good as the 390, the white panel and sticering is fab.btw jfyi, in ktm, bikes with black and orange are less powerful, and those with white orange and black(and usually orange frame) are more powerful.

Whaat?? Really? I find the 200 livery far more attractive. It has a mean streak to it. The 390 though good, doesn't look so fab. To each his own !!The hero always RIDES into the sunset!

Re: KTM RC 200 & RC 390 Launched
What's the use of those ends..?? Just curious...Originally posted by hackernewbie View PostIt very much seems to be the case. I am coming straight from the showroom now and the bike I checked-out, had no whistling sound. Not even a tiny bit.
Also, I found there are atleast two differences in the body of the RC 200 & RC 390, ofcourse apart from the color.
1. I found the handle of the 200 to be smaller than that of the 390. Not much but yes, significant enough to notice.
2. The bit that extends out at both ends of the handle bar were missing in the 200. (check out the image)
