Primary use is to minimize vibes on the handle bar. Also acts as a protection in case of a fall.
Plus, to me, the look cool

Those are there to help with handlebar vibrations. They are called bar-end wieghts. Same is the case with D390 and D200.

Thanks... But funny coz in their website, neither the 200 nor the 300 has the weights... If the 390 has weights like that of pulsars.. Metal.. That would be great.. Hopefully I can get a pair installed aftermarket..

Also, I found there are atleast two differences in the body of the RC 200 & RC 390, ofcourse apart from the color.

            1. I found the handle of the 200 to be smaller than that of the 390. Not much but yes, significant enough to notice.
            2. The bit that extends out at both ends of the handle bar were missing in the 200. (check out the image)

Bangalore has the 200 on display.. Hyderabad has no ETA.. [emoji35]

While launching locally, they launched it a few days after the official launch.. Hopefully the deliveries start in a month.. Before diwali!!!!!

And agreed.. Those levers look like they were taken from some local bike parts shop... [emoji20]

In fact, it might cost him some. Its because the D200's bars don't have a provision(thread) to allow the bar-ends to fit, it would need to be replaced with one from D390 if you want bar -ends. So, most probably RC's would also be the same. Also the bar-ends for the pulsar and D390 differ.

Oh is it so! I had aftermarket barends on my duke, which were expansion type, did not require any changes in the handlebar. I thougt pulsars are same kind

Wondering for a provision for GPS holder or a mobile phone holder.. That would look great especially if you are travelling..

                        Those are easily available!
In fact, I recently ordered a Polaroid XS100 and it came with all the mounts.

Also guys, I have one question.

Can I avail my free services for the RC in any ASS even if I purchase it from some other SHOWROOM ?

2 things are stopping me from getting the RC 390

                          1. That being 6 ft 1, I will look ridiculously big and disproportionate on it, even though ergonomically it might not be that taxing for tall riders from what I've heard, compared to say the dukes, but look wise it doesn't look like a big bike from the pics. Hell I don't even need it to look big, just proportionate and ergonomically decent, specially the legs part.

                          2. Knowing that a bike like the CBR 650f might be coming to India within 1-1.5 years and if I get this now, I might not be able to get a bigger bike in the next 2 years, and the CBR looks pretty juicy:

I have no other doubts, such specs at this price point is a steal IMO and I am digging everything else about the RC 390.

The front end of the RC twins could have been better I suppose. Should have been inspired from the RC8

Heard about the ride coming to india in 2015-16. And that too making locally.... Read in some website yesterday. Roughly on 5lakh or below pricetag.
