      Saw an RC390 today morning on the Outer Ring Road going towards KR Puram (from Mahadevapura) around 10 AM. A guy wearing a red Tshirt and a matte black LS2. No gears of any sort. Also the number plate was blank. I'm guessing its the Marathalli showroom guy going to the KR Puram RTO to get the test ride bike registered.

        Called again:

        Asked for name again..

        Said to hold..

        She came back again and said that the bikes will be in this Saturday and told me to complete the paperwork tomorrow..

        Now gotta get the cash ready.. damn..

          Yes/No - We had about ~15 bikes delivered in Bangalore today. It was at e-zone/Isle of Man/KTM Marathahalli.
          The second shipment is here, reached this afternoon.

          And guess what ? I got mine this evening :-) Proud owner of the RC now. Been a hectic day from 7:00 AM.Will post the few pics that I clicked soon.

                        Guys & Girls.. maybe this belongs to the ownership thread but since it doesn't exist.. I'm putting it here..

                        I know the regular service from the showroom guys.. changing engine oil etc..

                        My question is what's up with our own service at home?? I mean small things like chain lubricating, tyre pressure (fuel station), engine oil and coolant checking and topup, brake oil topup..

                        I mean I'm planning to buy a paddock stand to lube the chain once every two weeks.. is there something else that I can do along with lubing the chain?? I mean normal maintenance for the RC.. or any bike for that matter??

                        I could only find that the chain needs to be lubed every ~500 kms (duke 200) other than that is there anything else that needs to be done periodically??

                          Please make sure you clean the chains properly before you lube it..
                          Isn't two weeks over doing it?I don't know how much you ride, if it's less than 250km, I doubt if it will be helpful.
                          Wonder how effective the products are, haven't used it myself, just used the chain spary which its pretty effective.

                            well.. I ride about 200 kms every week.. so every 400 kms lubing the chain will do right?

                                okay.. now tell me why you doubt it..? I'm not sure whether servicing once every 6 months or so will be enough for the lubes to last.. it's just about maintenance and increasing the life of the bike, the engine and reliability right?
