
The company stated that the workers had earlier given a notice for strike 28th June. But the workers stopped attending work from the 25th itself. The workers have gone on strike because they have not been allowed to purchase Bajaj shares at a discounted price of Rs 1, with a maximum of 500 shares.

The workers have said that the management has not yet invited the union for talks. Vishwa Kalyan Kamgar Sanghatana is representing the workers of the plant.
