The Ns200 gets a faux cone plate with handles which are not bolted onto the suspension tube. The bolts with which they are connected to cone plate are alan keys.
The RTR180 itself gets the same setup as the Rs200 but has a plastic covering over it.
Talking about the Rtr200, well mate you need to check the pics again and again. There have been numerous pics now, you should probably check them.
I hope i explained your doubts which you did not know about

RS200 does NOT have True Clip-ons, they are Faux

As for RTR200, YOU should look at the pics AGAIN. Like I said before, in the initial spy shots RTR200 had a single piece handlebar but now it has Faux Clip-ons. In the pic below, the one on the right is the older spy shot and the left one is the newer spy shot

What the heck is a CONE PLATE and SUSPENSION TUBE? RS200's handlebar has Screws for Adjustment? What?

True Clip-ons are what you see below. They are attached/clamped directly to the front Forks (Suspension tube? Seriously?) Faux clip-ons are attached to the Triple tree/triple clamp/ Yoke (Cone plate? Seriously?)

However, I was quite intrigued by this new word, and I did a google search - Surprise - there is only one motoring website which has actually referred to the name "Faux clip-ons" - and that's some site called "BikesIndia" Initially I thought it was BikeIndia conjuring up such a term...but no, this BikesIndia seems to be as faux as it's faux clipons.
Right because the word has to be on a forum to actually mean anything. Gotcha. Excellent standards

      Hi Ppl...

On a positive note, we have exchanged a lot of technical knowledge. But, I think we should put a "." to such discussion, before MODS spring into action and delete all the messages.

TVS has confirmed that they will soon launch a new motorcycle based on the 310 cc engine of the Apache 310. Would it be an adventure tourer?
        In search of NIRVANA!!!!

It looks similar to both bikes as well as FZ, styling DNA of all naked bike is similar only brand and reliability makes the difference.

It is a normal strategy of manufactures to design based on a winning product from the market..many bikes were designed based on FZ specs..same is happening in car industry also , Koreans copy from Japs & Europeans and now its vice versa !!

I do not know if I am asking anything stupid or if I had missed anything. Isn't the apache more of a track focused bike with its seatinf position and all?
The 200Ns and duke are street fighters, with more of upright and easy seating Position to make driving through traffic easier.
Has the apache rtr changed, and has become a streetfighter?

And thanks for the info, I never knew and I thought the RS 200 had proper clips from the looks of it.
                    No problem!

And yes RTR180 uses the same handlebar system. Its a bit more complicated it seems. I found this comment in the RTR180 ownership thread, have a look and see what this user shivank has mentioned: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcyc...tml#post323112

I am quoting a very specific point that he said: "According to him(SVC mechanic) there's no place to shift the handlebar in either forth or back position"

Therefore even though there is slight adjustability, it is not significant

Also, the wait should be worth. Reports claim it is nothing like any TVS product ever was.
Also, slight OT : Did you overbore your 160/180? How's the performance? Reliability?
                      Thanks & Regards
Yes, reports claim some good response. I know you haven't asked me but ihave a big bore kit .

Otherwise the bike looks cool enough, comparable to other naked bikes.

Definitely the bike would look aesthetic in mono color, rather than a zebra camouflage.

Looks exactly like the existing apache from the side if I am not wrong...tank and headlight is different obviously

So, as stated above, Rushlane has posted 14 pictures for the bike.

The upcoming TVS Apache 200 has now been fully revealed in new images. Launch of the upcoming TVS Apache is scheduled to take place on 20th Jan.

I must say, going through the technical specs, I find it having very middling figures. 140 kg, with 20.26 hp (not Bhp, that's bound to be a bit lower). But I'll reserve my opinions till a test drive.
