The Clip ons are higher than the Duke's one piece handle bar.I think that in a year or two, all commuters from TVS will come with clip-ons.The 180 had smaller vertical stalks between the upper triple clamp and axis of handle. On second thought the photo maybe weirdly scaled that could be the explanation.Plus the CB 300F design leaks looks like the inspiration.

FAUX Clip-ons and the inspiration is Pulsar 200NS. Everything in the test mule looks like its borrowed from the 200NS other than the OGRIS exhaust barrelOriginally posted by Vignesh vnktrmn View PostThe Clip ons are higher than the Duke's one piece handle bar.I think that in a year or two, all commuters from TVS will come with clip-ons.The 180 had smaller vertical stalks between the upper triple clamp and axis of handle. On second thought the photo maybe weirdly scaled that could be the explanation.Plus the CB 300F design leaks looks like the inspiration.
And what do you mean by CB300F design "Leaks"? The bike was already launched in US in 2014
What is Ogris you may ask? Its a rocket launcher from a game called Warframe. So much similarities of this exhaust with the weapon. Looks like someone in TVS plays Warframe

It took them 16 years to bring the Fiero's cousin with a bigger heart .They could have done it before. The FXR 150 has the same engine platform and was also launched three years before the fiero overseas. It made a claimed 20 HP at the crank(Easily kills the R15 and CBR 150 and is also lighter). They have now put an enlarged FXR based engine in the Synchro stiff chassis and Lets hope they give it a six speed gearbox as well.BTW Have a look at the photo below and see if the bike designed in 1997 looks better or is it just me??

About the clip ons Even the 200 NS is better.I was thinking Karizma. I know the CB 300F got launched but the actual bike (I have seen some over here in NZ) looks different from the Apache test mules.I just saw a similarity in the front fascia of the apache patent image and the CB of course most street fighters have a similar design language .Atleast the guys this time around only play warframe. The guys who did the BEAST update must have been high on weed.Originally posted by RoyalIndian View PostFAUX Clip-ons and the inspiration is Pulsar 200NS. Doesnt matter, from Where you get the inspiration, as long as it looks good(example- Hyundai's new design language). i will reserve my comments untill I see the original pics.
What I am really concerned about is- the performance from a oil cooled engine. Hope some BMW inputs have been taken in designing this engine.HH Dawn - TVS Star City - Yamaha Gladiator - TVS RTR 180 - Honda CBR 250R - Yamaha R3

The oil cooled engine can definitely perform well.I have ridden the FXR 150 and it can stick to the CBR 250's tail (It makes 20 hp and is only 120Kg).The good thing is that it is a 4 valve and that should be good enough. The current crop of the RTR's competitors are tuned relatively soft. There is much more scope in them with decent reliability and resistance to over heating but same can't be said about the RTR's oil cooled yet.will have to wait for it to launch and then wait further for people to take it to its limits.

Re: Apache RTR 200 - Launches on 20th Jan?
What he is trying to say is that there are certain cases where a bike when launched might have some manufacturing defects or any like it.for eg when the Duke was launched it has major issues which has been ironed now.Originally posted by RoyalIndian View PostThere is no problem in buying the bike at launch. What do you think the riders with the test mules have been doing?
