This could be just a Trailer , why would they make such a move.. something else is comming more than 220.

                • Looks like the P180/200 upgrade is a bad idea. Maybe Bajaj should call it off.

Not necessarily a bad idea, if they provide the P220 with an appropriate upgrade. It would be a bit of a shocker for those that have just bought one of the P180/200/220, but you can't expect a company to keep a bike the same just because there people that just bought them. (Besides, I'll be shopping in a few months, so I want to see some nice new stuff out there by then.) So I would fully encourage Bajaj to upgrade the P180/200. Provided they make sure their top of the line bike gets a proper overhaul to offset the fact that now it's smaller siblings are getting similar features. I'm talking about the rear disc and clipons, who knows what other things (like DC headlight maybe?).

So how about it, Bajaj? Give us the upgrade on the P180/200 and make sure the P220 moves along accordingly!

Rightly said that we really cannot expect a company to stop upgrading their machines just because people have bought them a couple of months or for that matter a couple of days back!

After just about a couple of months of your 'shopping', I am sure Bajaj will decide to launch yet another 'upgrade' out of the bike (their infamous Pulsar), and believe me, you would be the FIRST one to feel that Bajaj shouldn't have done this! That's the way it is!

                      • I don't know about the P180/P200 but the P220 surely deserves an upgrade both looks and engine wise. It's been 2 years the P220 has been left untouched and a minor job would help it regain the undisputed "king of performance" tag, IMO!!

They (Bajaj) have changed the colour of the tacho in these two years!
                          :)

                            Major upgrade that !
IMO, the older tachs' black theme looked better...

Perhaps, but let put it this way, if I were in the market right now. The P220 would be mine already, despite the fact that upgrades are imminent. However, due to circumstances (not related to bikes) I'm holding off.

So yes, it would be a little sour, but there's nothing anyone can do about it. I'd rather see the Indian motorcycle market move up and on than for it to keep making pace in place. So the Pulsar upgrades aren't the come all end all kind of stuff, but it has to happen.

If i am not wrong the tacho's graphics was changed across the pulsar lineup and was not restricted to P220, alone!!
