    Bajaj Pulsar RS200 Launched @ Rs 1.18 Lakhs

    Bajaj have launched the Pulsar RS 200 @ Rs 1.18 Lakh for the Non-Abs version and Rs 1.3 Lakh for the ABS version. Read the Review of the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 here.

    4-valve Triple Spark DTSi Engine with Fuel Injection and Liquid Cooling300mm disc brakes with ABSPerimeter Frame for high stiffness-low flex to conquer the trickiest hairpins with elan. The gas filled Nitrox Mono suspension midship race spec exhaust for better response - hitting the redline will never sound better
    The Pulsar RS 200 unleashes 24.5 PS power and achieves a top speed of 141 km/hr and redlines at 11,000 rpm. It is a bike that is designed to take on the race track or everyday roads with equal ease, like a true Pulsar would

            Of course, I came here to follow the product, but as someone who has constantly busted his ass on the track trying to get better, it rustled my jimmies.

            On topic though, the bike seems to be pretty decent. The 20-25kg extra weight (compared to the RC200) would surely hurt the performance numbers.

              i am eager to know its weight as well, coz a spec sheet circulated on whatsapp claimed it to be lighter than RC200

                On the spec sheet, it says 165kg. The RC200 is high 130s. Even the RC390 is under 150.

                  Thats a valid point. That quote is outright rubbish. Got to see if this products helps Bajaj regain its position in the market.

                        I still can't get over the looks of the bike. There are so many lines, curves, angles. The guy who designed the RS 200 might have aced his geometry exams in school. And to add to the busy design, they've gone all Hero Honda on the bike and added a tonne of graphics & stickering work. Looks aside, I think Bajaj has priced it well for the kit that comes along with it.

                        As for me, I'm still waiting for the CS400. That bike has everything I'm looking for in my next upgrade or at least the concept of the bike did.
                        Anyhoo, I think this is one of the most exciting times to be a biker in the Indian motorcycling scene and a revolution is taking place. A lot of manufacturers are starting to take the biking enthusiasts in India seriously.

                          "Leave track racing to amateurs" One of the silliest quote ever. Don't know who came up with it and what he's trying to interpret. Direct provocation to RC200 ? Which is it's sibling.

                              Price is good. ABS for 1.5L (OTR maybe), tubeless tyres and hopefully less niggles (as Bajaj has been testing this bike for ages). And IMO, this should help Bajaj even more in the market that is crazy about faired bikes.

                              Also, red color looks nice.
