Another blunder it says Mumbai, 26 and not March 26 - don't know how many noticed .

Or are they saying track racing is for noobs... all "Pros" should race on open, public roads?
Either Bajaj seriously means it and wants to target the Indian mindset of Road Rossi or they don't understand the statement .
These blasphemies are enough to get some people fired.

Maybe naive to ask - Is the ABS only available in front wheel which means it wont help rear wheel locking . Am I mistaken?

Get off your high horses people! I know lot of people in xbhp itself who leave track racing to amateurs. Its targeted at the right market with the right kind of words. Its not a sports bike if it cant do a traffic light GP!

If you say it sends the wrong message to the public, then the messages of Gandhi, Bhagat singh and who else should be resonating to this day. Chill people. Also Pulsar was always about street racing, as are RTRs according to their ads.

the tag line and all will fade.. what will remain would be the bike..
Really decent bike as per specs and coming from NS 200 i am sure this would be the same (or better) in terms of handling etc..

My concern is the pricing.. 1.3L for ABS for a 200 CC bike.. now when the 400 cc bike will be launched it will be atleast 1.7L i am guessing.. (almost 2L Bangalore OTR).. the 390 Duke is 2.24L OTR bangalore..

at these price points someone who wants a 400 cc bike would easily opt for the Duke 390 (ABS for free).. 25k wouldnt be a big lure for folks to go for the pulsar 400 i feel..

          just saying..

Last RTR ad I have seen is showing track as subject. I assume thats the reason why these morons did this tag line.

Either way, its such an irresponsible line. Its fine if you cant support racing. However, asking to take it to streets (indirectly) is childish.
And they call it super sport / racing sport.

Nothing to take away from the bike or Bajaj's effort. I 100% belive that this is not the best way to promote this bike.

if 400CC is for 2 lakhs then it not VFM, then its good to put more 40-50K on RC390,
So 400cc will be in 2017 even if they planned to launch

I'm glad RS isn't Rally Sport! And it looks better than Maruti's version of a RS product (ok, 4 wheelers aren't allowed!).

Wait till Adventure Sport comes out.

These terms have no defined boundaries and that is the problem. The funny thing is, (again, sorry in advance) they say Toyota Fortuner is an off-roader!

Actually what I was pointing our was, they call it super sport and asking asking the buyers to leave the track to whatever. Thats lame. They should know where a ss belongs.

Totally disappointed with weight!! Almost 20kgs heavier from NS just doesn't make sense. They should have kept the weight at 155 Kgs. Any way, Red looks really good and let us appreciate the availability of ABS option.

Its very good to see a Indian company creating such hype!!

But personally i feel the fairing is overdone & the handlebar feels bit odd at that height.

A bit of weight actually makes the ride over longer distances comfortable... The RS could actually turn out to be a good Sports Tourer.

And yes, ABS is definitely welcome.

No matter how hard I try, I cannot quite ignore the fact that the design is pathetic. No portion of the bike appeals to me. The fairing is the most grotesque part of the over all design. I mean just look at that!! What were they thinking. A jugaad fairing mod looks better.
I know that visual appeal is subjective. But there has to be a design language for every design. This design talks Gibberish. It's childish and confused
                                .
