First time I am seeing in my life a real laaaal Ghoda. Have been guessing so far how a laaaal ghoda looks like.

Also it looks more decent here,but on Road in the presence of Sunlight..It's very Irritating and too flashy for eyes!!

I Think hero -honda has got lots of red paint and they are painting it on diff... parts of there bike any buddy pls explain them we want some new product not new paint on the same old suff!!!!!!!

I agree, the red thing is a bit Overdone. But, atleast, They didn't rename it!! (Like Yammie did to FZ-16 )

i liked the work on the tank. rest everything was totally uncalled for. even that silly little bull with "25th year" writ large around it. I mean the bull has no connection with Hero Honda at all!! Maybe if they put the HH logo. it would have some logic atleast behind the initiative. so what if the advert had bulls. we all know HH ads suck. All this from someone who has been an HH owner. for the last 9yrs. so please, i dont mean to start any wars.

There are 50000 xbhpians... And most of them are not regular members... say 90%... There must have been xbhpians too... who must have bought this INNOVATION... Just that... those people either dont speak up.. or dont log on at all...

I am no fan of Hero Honda.. Not in my wildest dreams even... Even if they launch a machine like FZ or R15...

HH does it again and agian... because they know what sells... The folks sitting at the top are more ""shana"" than you and me... They know how to pep up the sales... by not spending much...

Just think about it... We are just a bunch of biking enthusiasts... who only desire for perfomance machines.. (well most of us)... How many of us.... say at max 5000... conversing to each other only.. our way of thinking has become same... What all we say is monotone... We are bunch of bikers suffering from Performance Syndrome... Who dont want to peep out beyond BHP & new designs... And dont consider financial viability...

But India is country of 1.2 billion ... with 65 % population residing in villges... who dont have any idea about the biking...

Presume there are 100 million bike users... Can you compare 5000 xbhpians... with say 100 million bikers??? No...

What do you think... How many LITERATE BIKERS are there in india??? LITERATE BIKERS means... Bike users who know that its their responsibility to ride safely.. with a helmet.. shoes... and following rules... Leave aside a knowing good design & engineering...

Look at the rules & regulations of this country... hardly 4-5 cities have made it mandatory to ride... wearing a helmet..

How many people in India seriously do it... For most of them... riding a bike with helmet make them loose the "TUSSHION"..

When 65% population is residing in villages... And of 100 million bikers... 90% bikers dont bother wearing helmet... SomeWhere HH knows all this & targets this segment...

For so called "ILLITERATE BIKERS"" this upgarde is more appealing... When they compare it to now plain jane pulsar... leave aside the technical aspects... This biek looks more jazzy... And any "" GALI KA LAUNDA - ILLITERATE BIKER "" would prefer this HUNK over PULSAR... coz its more JAZZY...

HH knows this... thats why its launching colour upgrades...

Look at this fact... Ous clothes have become more colorful over years... When you look last decade we spent... most of us never had this JAZZY colourful clothes... Our Mobiles phones have become more Flashhy... Our Home decorative paints have got more flashy... differnt color combinations in same room... Furniture have become colourful...

5 years back we would have felt ashamed of wearing RED coloured shoes... But Not anymore... We all wear.. Yellow.. Red shoes... We wear Red Adidas.. Red Nike Pajamas... 10 years back we would not have thought of wearing such orange.. red colors..

Somewhere HH Knows all this... thats why they experiment with colors without spending moolah... and this is what we get... and it sells...

P.S -- Last year one of xbhpians painted his FZ in WHITE, BLUE, Red combination... with front alloy blue... and rear white... And everybody exclaimed... WOW... ... You can understand what I mean...

More,over the people who wear RED chappals launched by nike or red shoes by PUMA,are still called "Chichore!!"

Your post actually conveys what is going on through the minds of millions of people in India who don't give a damn to bhp figures and technological jargons.

I remember a guy in our apartment saying he finds Unicorn more appealing than Pulsar and Apache because it has stickers!! The stickers for some has extra brownie points in people's wishlist which they want to flaunt and i fear there are thousands more who think in the similar lines and that says in the 3 lakh plus bike sales for HH!!

The CBZ-Xtreme after the colour-job is selling like a grocery item out here and that speaks about the people intentions and as inflammable has rightly mentioned HH guys know exactly how to garner profits by not spending much..If one is looking for pure adrenalin pumping performance then we have Yamaha, TVS and BAJAJ to our rescue and let the people who don't want to exercise their grey cells much continue buy HH products!!

Take it with a pinch of salt and let those 'colours' flourish!!

Right... We xbhpians are among the different class of bikers for whom.. Mere sticker & paint upgrades are not included in LIST OF EXPECTATIONS FROM BIKE MANUFACTURERS... So we fall in differnet league altogether... And HH bikes are not for OUR LEAGUE OF BIKERS... In simple words... HH Bikes are not for us... Period.

Nothing like that dude. HH bikes are very good.

The problem is that they don't upgrade their functional stuff as fast as other companies do. Well, even that is not a problem as they almost get near perfect functionality every time.

The pain is... well, look at the new Hunk, Glamour and CBZ-X, aren't they an eyesore? Why does the bright red colour has to be at so many odd places?
