AFAIK...Biker is by Soul but not by the Bike. Be it 50cc or 1300cc.

HH is very proud of launching so many bikes in less span of time.....

Launching old bikes with no engine upgrades and only with cosmetic changes never interest me.... Its time for HH( Largest producer of 2 wheeler in the world)

to step up the gas and create some interest in the segments.

Or else i dont see any reason loosing their top spot to any other company....

HH is launching new variants, which is still less than the offerings from BAL...

They possibly don't update their engines, as they're already flawless.. Also, the consumers they target don't wish to gamble with their money and want a fool-proof machine.. hence, they're still number 1..

HH is number one in sales because of its 100 cc models spearheaded by the legendary Splendor (now called the Splendor Plus), Passion (Passion Plus now), CD Deluxe... etc.

Even the great HMSI is also going to enter the 100 cc segment soon.

I agree with you. But, my point was that, The common man is HH's priority ...

We Guys (most of Xbhp) are different just because, common man chose HH's 100cc, we decided to go beyond their choices ... So, we're unique to an extent, because of HH ... That's my point.

HMSI going to a Sporty & powerful 100 CC bike like RX 100 (not 2S). The engine capacity is 100 cc but with more power and not like Hero Honda Bikes its different in style and power then any other 100cc bike . This bike launch in 2010.

^ yes, Honda will come out with a 100cc motorcycle which will not be a commuter type....power rating will be comparable to the motorcycles in higher segments! though nothing more is disclosed now, but its confirmed....might be like a dirt bike too!!! we'll see...

i guess their recent quarterly results press release mentioned it as 110 cc and in Q1 of next financial year!

HH has to do something on thier bikes - coz they are fully reliable in HONDA for any new releases

WHich is not gonna happen in the very next quarter or so........

There may be new bikes from HH but with the same engines.............

As HH has only three engines varities with them

ZMA

Extreme - Hunk - Achiever

Splendour - SSPlendour - Passion - Glamour - NXG - etc etc etc

So they have to rely on only cosmetic changes .............

But whatever it is - HH has people to buy thier bikes - whatever they do

Our People will even buy HERO Puch if it is given with a digital speedometer with Red Alloys and a name change...........
