      ^ I was told that the tires are the same size as the Dukes. So if the bike does indeed come with the Pirellis, I can look at the MRFs for a swap.

                    The bike pic posted earlier is a test bike, my friend rode the exact same bike in bangalore.

                    His comments were good, said it's good as a commuter & light tourer

                      Ya but I think if they are gonna charge 2lakhs for the bike that's overpriced.1.5 is the sweet spot.
                      This is their 1st performance bike ,in fact an opening to indian market.
                      Secondly we know its parts used is absolutely top end ones.the build are probably with all the best available products.but sometimes it's more than that.
                      Thirdly we don't have any clue at all on the servicing or quality of it.
                      Hope mahindra does positive in all aspects.but just the price needs to.be around 1.6

                          Yes I was the one indeed - this is the first bike for Mahindra in this segment after all. But then I took a test ride in the city and another one on the highway and found that the build quality was quite good. Since this fits my intended purpose very well indeed, I am willing to overlook certain niggles that will be there (hopefully not)

                          Plus, having owned a Bajaj, I've got all those mechanic-skills in case of stuff going wrong

                            Congratz on the booking i see that you have mentioned that you test ride it on Whitefield showroom is it Alfa motors? I did came to Bangalore last Sunday from Pondicherry and took test ride for close to 10 Km's in heavy rain. I must say I'm impressed about the tyre grip in wet road and braking confident.

                            I have booked Mine yesterday and preferred White color One. Have you made your choice. Also I think there will be a ride on the Launch weekend. If you are planning to come for the ride. Lets meet.

                              It has a 21 litre tank!! WOW! Mahindra isnt kidding about it being a tourer but I wonder how long the tyres will last. Hopefully, the headlights match up to its touring capabilities and Mahindra offers a nice wind shield to the owners.

                                You are correct - I have tried it at Alfa Motors itself and booked there as well. I will be going this weekend as well for another test ride. If there is a ride on the launch weekend then I will be 100% there.

                                As for the color I am still undecided - I want a black frame and only the Red color has a black frame. Even white looks good. I have to make a decision fast, I have got a call from Alfa today.
