    Looks and sounds good. But, overall the cruiser scenario in India is not good at all. Specially affordable ones. If you don't have the money to buy a HD, you're not having many options(leaving out the bulls). So, despite having many shortcomings, Avenger will continue to sell in numbers. Not that I am demeaning Avenger. It has done what the Japs could not - an affordable cruiser. I wish, Bajaj upgrades Avenger with some additional quality feature. People won't mind shelling out 15-20K more if they get their value for money.
    OT - I wonder why none of the Japs plan to launch an affordable cruiser/tourer below 250cc?
    Yes, those will not be selling in numbers but cruisers always cater to a specific segment. But that should not be the lone factor behind this! How about upgraded versions of Enticer/Eliminator? People who have ever had those two, will still swear by them!

                  So now this looks confusing...
                  1. Its the same chassis
                  2. The engine block looks like the old mill. What would there be an oil cooler if this was the NS unit. The NS unit looks different and this looks like the 220 mill.
                  3. There have been rumours and spy shots of 3 models. Read somewhere one would be the Street Version, am not sure of the second one, third would be the current model to be sold as Classic. There are so many news and rumours on this launch.
                  Am almost finalized on purchasing the current Avy this weekend.
                  Should I hold on to my decision.

                    Am I the only one having problems with my eye-sight or Is bajaj trying to replicate and bring 'Indianised' version of Street 750.
                    Saw few spy-shots and the Cam cover has silver on it... It looks like a concussion of 200 and 220 parts...

                      You should wait, my friend. Because if the new avenger comes out with NS engine, liquid cooling, and six gears You will be pissed if you brought the old one. In the pic there is clearly a white color tank available for liquid near the radiator(my bad, the leg guard is covered in white plastic, which I thought to be the liquid container) have a look there and upon checking the area near valve it seems a 4 valve engine.

                      The engine block could be air as well as liquid cooled, just my thought. I am confused too

                        The street version will have NS engine. Others might be facelift

                              But the "street" series is just a variant of the existing Avenger brand....I think they will launch a separate brand instead of calling the street series of cruisers a brand!
