I dunno if it's only me, but I find the previous generation Duke design much more appealing. The appeal is so strong that I might not even buy the new-generation Duke 390 if a choice is there. But, that is completely based on the looks. However, from the practicality pov, I might have to eventually buy the newer version, after all considering all the gadgetry one gets at the price point. & to be honest after owning the Duke 390 for about 7.5k kms, it's not a bad bike at all. Only thing amiss on the bike is the silky smoothness of the twin cylinder bikes. Apart from that the bike seems to be very good indeed. But, talking about vibrations, it's not as much as say a Bullet 350 either!Originally posted by kausarayub View Post

Add me to that list too. The unique feature of the current generation KTMs, among others, is the under-belly exhaust which really makes it look stunning for me. Replaced with the side mounted one, and well, its like all the other bikes.Originally posted by jack_daniels View PostComment

$300 (INR 20k) costlier than 2016 version. So will be INR 2.55L on-road here in Bangalore.Comment

A lot of people thought so when the first duke was launched but now we have grown to like it something similar will happen here. Update: The techs at the KTM / Bajaj / Kawasaki service centre here in Delhi said the new Duke will be available in Feb 2017. Just passing on what they said, no guarantee of accuracy.Urban Gypsies MC
