    I happen to speak to one of the guy who is in a position to know Bajaj & Ktm as they assist them in product strategy. As per him, a new bigger motorcycle is expected from Ktm in Dec end or mid Jan. When I asked is its 690 the response was affirmative.

    Source is trustworthy.

      Please ask your source about the launch date of 390 here. By when the delivery is expected to begin?

        Meeting him around mid November again. But there is lot of action expected in coming year for KTM as per him. We will be working for KTM through him...hopefully...

          The 690 making an appearance in India next year seems to be very likely (i too heard it from a 'source').
          Exciting year ahead!

            These are rejection components heading back to india, rejection material is of endurance technologies, manufacturer of WP shocker components.

              yes, i did notice that. but look carefully all of them are not 'rejects'. check out the export info also

              and also the fact that endurance is making suspension components for the 690 (which isn't yet sold in india) , makes me optimistic that a 690(or bigger) might land up here in near future

                                The engine sound at the end does not sound like a Single. Sounds more like a Twin like the 1290. It could very well be the 800 rather than 390
