if your ok to live with these problems then your good to go, and BTW CFMoto has better reviews in west compared to other chinies use/throw bikes

Saw your well documented ordeal in the Hyosung ownership thread. Honestly, I dont know if it is better than Hyosung or not. But I'm not writing it off, like most people in xBhp, without even looking at the bike IRL once.
All I'm trying to point out is that do not write it off because its a Chinese maker which the majority of xBhp has not heard of.

/i started this thread here for the Duke 390(and the forthcoming CBR 300) (1.8. Lakhs) vs Eider 650 (3.6 Lakhs, double of the former) vs Benelli 600i (6 and a half, maybe 7 Lakhs, double of the former).

My God this 650 costs less than my R3 CFMoto is better than Keeway (read Benelli) back there. But creating a proper service network along with aggressive marketing only will help.

I wasn't aware of KTM CfMoto arrangement for licensed production of Dukes in China. But its different than Bajaj. Bajaj owns a stake in KTM, not sure if CF Moto does as well. Hyusung used to have a similar arrangement with Suzuki in the past. They used to manufacture under a licensed contract. Anyways, everyone needs to start somewhere. Hyundai and other Korean cars had a similar reputation before finally being accepted. Heck, even the Japanese started off with knockoffs and poor copies and suspect engineering. Not to mention the rather poor standing of Indian engineering(manufacturing as well as quality control )in the West as well so shouldn't be writing off just because it's Chinese. Only problem with Chinese companies is blatant copying and zero disregard for IP and copyrights. The communist regime hardly does anything to check these. Remember the Gulsar and the Yamasaki bikes😁

So several Reviews later. . Many are saying that the Engine is a Straight emulation of the ER6n . Althogh the Bike is WELL BUILT and Some have had NO ISSUES even after 9 months of ownership and 2000KM ..

As the guy also quotes in the attached video, the bike is HEAVY!. everything is Steel and no Carbon Fibre or Alloys used for weight saving.

                          ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

                          Heck this guy managed to do 10,000 KM in 3 MONTHS ! ! ! ! !

Well, in all honesty, the traitor here is Ernst Degner, and not Suzuki, if I were in that place, and a racer approached me with the engine details of the previous year's champion and all he asked in return was a racing seat, especially given how hard the team(Suzuki) had struggled in the previous year, its not a bad trade off. Unethical? Totally. Morally bankrupt. Heck yeah.

But in all fairness the the question was "Heck, even the Japanese started off with knockoffs and poor copies and suspect engineering"

The Japanese do not do shoddy engineering. EVER. To say that I like the Japanese would be an utter fallacy. They are a crazy bunch of people, who are obsessed with perfection.

"The East German government did not support the international racing aspirations of MZ. The defection to the West of grand prix riderErnst Degner, complete with his theft of a set of secrets, started the end of the glory years of Kaadens bikes." - wikipedia

Is there a way to figure out if parts can be shared as well? It is great VFM if spares can be replaced with original Kawasaki/Honda/Yamaha spares.
Have not seen a single bike on the road Hyderabad, may be because of Eider motors dealership scam (rumour).
