    He further added,
On his Facebook page, he apologized after photos and videos of his ride drew criticism. He told reporters that even as prime minister he could not cite parliamentary immunity to avoid punishment.

The Cambodian PM, turned up at the police station later to pay his fine for riding a two-wheeler without helmet and no number plate. He arrived on another motorcycle, accompanied by his bodyguards on other bikes.

Well, good on the part of the cop but it seems very deliberate on the part of the PM. No helmet may be okay (according to most mango people) in India but no helmet plus no number plates is managed by very few an imbeciles in our country too.

Well done cop! I hope their PM is good at what he's supposed to do.
    Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

A big salute to the cop!

P.S. Imagine this thing happening to a small time leader here! Or maybe to his chamcha!

Good to see the PM owning up to his mistake and paying the fine. Couldn't imagine that happening here even if it were the fifth cousin of the fourth son of the distant uncle of the local Corporator.

Maybe it was a setup from the beginning guys.
I mean, this thing may have been enacted purposely to show people no one is above the law and beware if you break it you will be in trouble. People should be more scared now that if the PM can be pulled up, can you imagine what would happen to normal citizens.

A different perspective friends, what do you think?

          Cheers

Setup or not, how does it matter? The message is good, and its out in the public, right?

See, not all countries are that strict, that you can't even talk to the PM. The policeman might have thought that the PM might use his diplomatic immunity, if he so wishes, but its his duty.
Its not like the Cop was hell bent on punishing the PM, isn't it?

That's exactly what I meant Samarth. This was done purposely to instill a sense of discipline and fear if you will on non-compliance with the law.

Lol....In India a Maha sub-inspector did this to an MLA, but then he was ordered to appear in parliament where he was then beaten and sent to hospital for his outrageous and unprecedented actions of stopping a minister's SUV.😁
