    One more thing, if you remember YAMAHA was showcasing R1, Fazer 1000, etc in all major cities/dealers. What was that for? Do you think there is some connect and they are coming down big way. Are they going to satiate the power hungry?

      well thats what i'm hoping they do!! remember there was a talk abt selling the Fazer 600 in some magazine(pre Auto Expo)... if they do it has to be imported and hence will be expensive...

      Hope they do something like that to surprise all the biek lovers.... bring on those RD350 days

        I agree with rajnish, either Yamaha better get something good in, or they are truly out! I personally hope the Fazer rocks! But let's wait and see what Yam brings out, whether they live up to their rep of producing bad-ass bikes or not!

        Thought for the day - I have a nagging feeling that with the rising petrol prices and India STILL being a 3rd world country, we shouldn't be expecting anything extraordinary from the bike industry!

            may be they going to have a strategy here like what they have in china.they will have a class called "national" bikes which is produced locally and a catogorey called "import bikes " which will be bikes like R1,R6,YZ ETC.. which is going to be FBU.s

              hello guys

              Today i saw yamha fazer the bike looks good,the tacho and speedo are cool headlamp i think its a ? in overdrive and bsmotoring they said that yamaha will come with 5gears disk and es option in october and might be a cosmetic change in the bike like round doom which resulted in libero,the showroom guy said that the fazer touches upto 118 without vibrations i was amazed to hear it,but at present there is no sales the sales starts on july 7th for chennai guys u can see it in paras yamaha in mount road!

                WEll surely, Its just a Fazer hopefully but yes cant say if its a cosmetic changes that have been done unless.
                But yamaha is launching a strategy to have good share of market value.... Guys something is cooking up with Yamaha.

                    Exciting times ahead if Yamaha is trying to return to those glory days of the 80s and early 90s, when it was THE power bike manufacturer. Even abroad the mention of the word Yamaha means exciting bikes (the R1,R6,Fazer,etc) and with a certain Mr. Rossi on board now! lets hope some of this rubs off on Yamaha India and they stop making **** like the Crux n Libero

                      the new fazer is sure cutting edge tech.LOL the indian fazer is a different story.the under 15 bhp segement is too crowded now.
