    News Update: TVS teases with video of new #TVSApacheRR310 which is to be launched on 6th Dec 2017. #PureRacecraft



    We have been waiting long with bated breath for     TVS to launch the bike that they showcased at the Auto Expo 2016, named TVS Akula, which was based upon the 310 cc platform from the TVS-BMW partnership.

    Earlier, we had shared few spy pics of the testing version of this bike. And finally, TVS has confirmed the launch of its new bike 'Akula', though the actual name will be revealed during the launch event on 6th Dec 2017.

    More details on the launch will be updated here soon. Finally the TVS's 300cc game on!

    This will now be fun! I've heard the brakes surpass expectations! The Motorcycle should be very agile as people were very happy with the G310R's handling! And seems like we'll get ABS variant at launch!

      Most awaited sports tourer in recent memory for sure. Should be an excellent mix of affordability and performance, however, there's one thing that might put off well-built guys----riding ergonomics. Although auto-pun-dits are saying it won't be on the aggressive side, I am skeptical. Anyway, test rides should make the decision easy.

        As far as the spy shots confirm, riding posture is going to be aggressive. But, that should not be a problem.
        A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

          Although we cant say for sure, but lately it seems the riding posture has been tweaked in favor of touring purpose.

            On road pricing in the vicinity of 2 lakhs will be apt for this class of machine. This should unsettle the current crop of sub300cc bikes which are priced around that mark.

            If et all the bike churns out around 33-34 ps then this is going to be a major seller in the premium segment.

            Let's see.

              I heard pricing might be around 2.25L on road with ABS.

                    Since I saw this massive bike on the Hosur road few months ago, I kinda dig the muscular looks like the Ducati SuperSport S. It excites your senses and catches your attention like looking at the silhouette of a 650cc super-sport.

                    This is undoubtedly a modern masterpiece from TVS and it becomes more clear as they're taking more time testing and fine tuning it increasingly to do away as much initial niggles as possible.

                    Should be fun beginner bike and makes more sense to go for this than the hugely expensive and dull(makes power only at the top, no low-end grunt) Ninja 300. I feel Kawasakis's lineup is VFM only from Z650.

                    I'm willing to pay as much as ₹2.2 lakh ex-showroom but not more than that. Price it right TVS you have a winner on your hands.

                      Really interested in this bike. I want a sports focused bike since a long time. The only option was the hardcore KTMs. But I am not sure if they can command such a premium. Being Bajaj made.

                      I think this bike might do the trick. I just want a real sporty leaning riding posture. The only bike in India which can claim the RR title. Eagerly waiting.

                        unlike most of ppl who believe that price is around 1.8L , i am not sure TVS going to price it that low.
                        realistic price might be around 2L-2.3L ex-show w/wo ABS.
                        just for comparing , Mojo is priced around the same with USD ,FI and its 100% indian owned , while KTM 390 with its set of features be around 2.3L [not sure] with KTM co-owned.
                        Now considering apachi310 RR , majorly owned by BMW and cosmetic and tweaking development done by TVS, i guess TVS still has to pay royalty to BMW.
                        so above price of 2L-2.3L is possible. in that case BMW G310R/GS might touch 2.5L-3L ex-show.

                        now BMW G310 series price can be guessed if we know apachi310 price.

                        THese are just my guesses

                            Hi guys, I seen bike yesterday in TVS Hosur manufacturing facility. Bike looks very hot especially in red. I can easily say they are going to give tuff competition to RC390. Rare seat is very small & cushioning is not at par to accommodate an adult. Bike will be priced between 2.2 to 2.4L confirmed by one of my friend working in TVS marketing. I have already decided to book one on the day of launch & so many will be in line to book it just with a glance of bike.

                              The same price range was told by the people there few months back...if it is so, then it will be a good package considering ABS as standard.
                              I wish they could have done some practical design in pillion seat .
